The White House ligger i Bowness-on-Windermere, 38 km från Derwentwater och 42 km från Askham Hall. Detta pensionat med 5 stjärnor har gratis WiFi. The property suggested a nearby car park, which we were able to find easily (though the pay machines were a bit dodgy with international credit cards) and it was only a short stroll to the house. Instructions to get in were fairly strait forward. The rooms were as described - a good sized queen and separate single with adjoining bathroom. I'm sad I didn't get to try out the awesome bath but the double shower was great! The location is excellent, with a short stroll to many eateries and the main shops etc. Mini bar fridge was appreciated.

Tithe Barn - Self Check In Hotel ligger i Cockermouth, 18 km från Buttermere och 22 km från Derwentwater, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och en platt-tv. The hotel was very clean and stylish and in a great location. The self-check was very good. The breakfast was excellent and complete

This was one of our favorite stops on our recent trip. We all agreed, the beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, and the rest of the amenities were great. Elliott was a great host - giving us some advice about our next stop. Breakfast was delicious. With a pub within walking distance we couldn't ask for a better location.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Easy to find, car park, great breakfast.

Westbourne är ett vackert pensionat som ligger i ett lugnt område nedanför Biskey Howe i Lake District. Rummen har duschkabin, lyxiga badprodukter och stora fluffiga handdukar. Lovely warm welcome, beautiful room, spotlessly clean. The only place we have stayed which was better in reality than the advertising photos. Attention to detail was excellent, down to the herbal tea selection in the room.

Ravenstone Lodge ligger 8 km från Keswick, vid foten av Ullock Pike, så att du kan koppla av i vinterträdgården eller på terrassen och njuta av några av de vackraste landskapen i Lake District. Food was amazing. Lots of choice and prepared to the highest quality.

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. Breakfast was excellent, a good variety to choose from.

Detta vackra viktorianska hus har ett lugnt läge mellan Windermere och Bowness, bara 1,6 km från Lake Windermere. Location excellent, beautiful house, comfortable bed and super pillows. Amazing quality breakfast. Great friendly, highly efficient staff. Would definitely return. Many thanks to the staff and owner.
