Karien, the manager, takes with her team care of the guest from arrival to departure. They were there, when needed, and went out of our way when we wanted to relax. The house was very clean und equipped with everything we needed. Awesome ! It is only a few meters away from the river and we had stunning views on the river at sunrise and sunset. Truly magic. We enjoyed the two-hour-boat trip as well. Junior was the Guide and he gave us the time we needed to look at birds and other animals. We enjoyed it and will definitely come back. Thanks Karien !

Wow what a hidden gem this place is! The service is outstanding and the care you receive is above and beyond for a 3 star hotel. From the moment you arrive until you leave you are very well looked after. Caroline, Ken & Destiny are so lovely and kind, made us feel very much at home. The breakfast is cooked to your liking, we spent 8 nights here and enjoyed every day. The pool is kept clean everyday. Its lovely and quiet too. The only thing I would suggest is that they start providing lunch and dinner. We did order from Zest restaurant a few times but it arrived cold, but the brilliant hotel staff did warm it up for us. There is a supermarket 5 minute walk away called Choppies. Where the lodge is based there is no street lighting so not recommended to go out after dark. I really liked the river-view room on the Zambezi, with a lovely terrace. Staff was great, food excellent and the atmosphere on the Zambezi river magic! I loved the sunset cruise which leaves directly in front of the hotel.

Stayed really wonderful 4 nights in here, perfect location, quite and amazing view of the river, perfect services from all staff we have engaged, and in general out of expectations and what we have paid for. All of our activities are booked through hotel and they have offered super efficient services, all "connections" are almost perfect during our stays. And it's easy to meet some animals around your rooms too!!!

The location is exceptional with an amazing opportunity to see wildlife close by. Close by to any attractions, but still hidden in nature. The staff is very friendly and helpful in any matters. The location of the restaurant is priceless, watching hippos and elephants during breakfast, and the food is delicious for a great price.

meals are okay, heavy breakfast right on time and the potion size is adequate
