Excellent location, in the heart of downtown, near waterfront (our place had a parcial view to the lake - gorgeous skyline!) right in front of train/ bus station, near metro, and near lots of atractions and good restaurants. Very chic and comfy ambience, the building is a neoclassical architecture, that was originally a bank from the beginning of 20th century. It was a recommendation from a friend, and I also recommend this place to all who wants to stay for a season in Toronto. My husband and I had a good time in this place.

Good to stay and explore Toronto and Niagra by car or Uber and only a short hop away from the airport. Breakfast had been pretty okay for an Inn, fully meeting our expectations. Room was clean and as shown on booking com. Only the close industrial neigbourhood looked a bit messy. In case you don't have a car, make sure you are okay with the shops and restaurents nearby - they are very limited but had been sufficient for us in what we regard as being in walking distance. Great staff keeping evering clean and tidy - thanks for that!

streets are busy all times, over crowded streets and shopping centres. during my visit keep hearing homeless, or drugged people shouting on the street it is uncomfortable to walk down the street.
Toronto public transportation is great. do not drive inside downtown of Toronto, it’s too crowded to drive. it is very difficult to make a turn.

It was my first visit in Canada , and my first NHL game in Toronto .
The apartment is on the 48th floor, next to the Scotiabank Arena.
Toronto has a great transport system as you can take not only the subway and tram but also the train to wherever you want to go by taxi, so it was great.
What I didn't know was that Toronto has a secret life, and that's the areas under the buildings where let you walk all over downtown, unaffected by the weather. This area is full of restaurants, cafes, boutiques and other shops.
CN tower was really highly, scary but the view from there was beautiful.
Niagara Falls ohhh was beautiful and powerful.

It was over 40 years between visits to Canada and my first time in Toronto, it did not dissapoint. Toronto is a big city and you are spoilt for choice with where to stay. We stayed downtown as it was close to conference venue. You will want to spend time exploring the different neighbourhoods and if you get time, I would recommend a tip down to Hamilton and to Niagra. All serviced by the clean and reliable GO trains from Union station. Cose to the city I recommend walking through Kensington Market - which is a district rather than a market. On the weekend this place is heaving. You have a pletohra of great restaurants and a people watching paradise. Closer to downtown, a walk along King and Queen streets will reward you with street art, quirky shops, some of the best vintage stores I have been in and food options galore. Can also recommend a wander through Chinatown (Between Queen St and Kensington Market. The Distillery District is worth a look if you have time. The old distillery makes for an interesting backdrop to new residental buildings, shops, bars and restaurants. The UP trains from the airport (Pearson) to the city are your best option to get into the city. Around $12 and about 25 minutes - well worth it and a lot cheaper than taxis and Uber. Enjoy!

I am no stranger to Toronto as I worked for The City of Toronto at Toronto City Hall for 40 years. Toronto is an exciting City to visit. It’s so clean, the people are super friendly, there are so many different types of food and restaurants to enjoy, so many wonderful attractions to visit - a trip on the Ferry to Centre Island is a must during the warm summer months, the Aquarium, take in a Toronto Blue Jays game, walk to St Lawrence Market. Visit beautiful Nathan Phillips square anytime of the year. Make sure to spend a day at the Toronto Zoo too.!!!! Go to The Pint right across the street for a pint and some delicious food and hang out with all the Blue Jays fans!!!!

If you are a solo traveler with an appreciation for hipster life and culture this is a great and affordable hotel to stay in. I appreciated the Toronto cultural references in the Hotel e.g. maps, books, art and museum books. I have visited Canada 4 times, this being my 4th time. I felt that because I stayed at this hotel, I had a better understanding and experience of Toronto tourism and life. The staff were really cool, friendly and positive. I really recommend this stay for students and solo travelers.
The person that helped me check-in ( I think her name was Nikita? starts with an N) was wonderful and even put me in the 40th floor which gave me a wonderful view of the city. Room was pretty okay a little out dated but it was quite comfortable and spacious. Location wise is at the best spot since its at the heart of Downtown, Toronto. TTC & Streetcars are just outside the hotel giving you easy access to explore the city but also lots of walking distant to various attractions and restaurants.
Very nice two bedroom apartment in downtown Toronto. Whole apartment for about the same price as a 2 queen bed hotel room. Easy walking distance to the CN Tower and Union Station. Lots of restaurant choices and things to do close by.
Coffee and tea provided which was a nice touch.. Kitchen with dishes and cookware provided if you want to make meals.
Check in and out very easy. The staff provided timely and detailed instructions for key pick up and for checkout.
The staff at the desk and restaurant very helpfull and polite. Providing us detailed attention and recommendations. The shuttle is very convenient for the Airport Breakfast varies from day to day and gives us the extra we didn't expected. We stay back at this hotel and would certainly recommend for a stay in Mississaugua. Petro Canada gaz station and convenience store just next door and bus stop at the street if you choose to take the Toronto transit .
The hotel staff were VERY professional and attended to our needs right away. Both rooms we booked were GREAT and the location was BETTER than I could have asked for. We were right around the corner from the heart of downtown Toronto and within walking distance to pretty awesome attractions. Even better, we were around the block from a cute little diner that was reasonably priced. Pela was AWESOME and had the patience of Job. Give her a raise.
Everything was really fine here. it’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s very good at being what it is - a very well-run and nicer Holiday Inn downtown location. We stayed on the 22nd floor, in a recently renovated room (May 2022) and had views of the Toronto Tower. We had 1 king bed and it was a spacious room. Location is very central and handy for getting everywhere. The breakfast was busy but really great and also well run!
We stayed at embassy suites by hilton near Pearson Airport for our first night in Canada. The free shuttle bus was great and meant it was so easy to get to the hotel and also to pick up our hire car the next morning.. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was clean and breakfast was great. We are planning to return before our flight home.
location is great - if you want to be in the middle of downtown Toronto. Given the recent politics / economy of Ontario, when night falls, the streets surrounding this hotel get crowded with homeless and transient people - who are harmless, but will certainly intend to engage you in conversation.
The Sonder hotel was very clean, bed was very comfortable. Ample storage for clothing. Great location in downtown Toronto. Nice touch with sound machine. We used it but it wasn't really all that noisy, it was just fun to try it out. The room was updated nicely with modern and clean design.
Very well located hotel in downtown Toronto. It is close to several nice restaurants and bars and at walkable (15 min) distance to most attractions.
Hotel lobby as well as the rooftop bar have an amazing atmosphere. Service is outstanding.
Bedding linens are pure cotton comfort.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very nice and larger than expected. I'm not a fan of valet parking but it was very well executed. Expensive room for no breakfast included but for downtown Toronto location, it was still a better value than comparable hotels.
The location was good.
It's highly recommended for those people who were from far places of Canada and were just coming over Toronto to attend for their US visa interview at the US embassy.
The US embassy was just around the corner. It's 4 minutes walk from Rex Hotel.
Extremely spacious room included as a Booking.com Genius reward was definitely appreciated. Good wifi, large TV with cable, Keurig coffee maker and comfy bed. Hotel location was perfect for exploring downtown Toronto.
it was modernly updated (other than the exterior). loved the bed and the cleanliness. the location was awesome and it was inexpensive compared to Toronto downtown hotels yet you’re so close!
This hotel is in downtown Toronto and is ideally situated. Close to metro stations, theatres, restaurants and other places of interest. We found all of the staff helpful and obliging.
The hotel is the best location in uptown Toronto with quick access links downtown.
This hotel is my preferred when in Toronto they really make you feel at home.
Convenient location downtown as I had an early flight the next day from downtown Toronto airport. Concierge was very helpful for dinner/taxi arrangements.
