My son loved the loft room, there were no arguments over who was sleeping where.
The size of the room was very generous.

Zwolle is a lovely vibrant friendly town, full of great bars, restaurants and shops and undoubtedly one of the best ice cream parlours I have ever visited. There are so many great spots, so much to do and it's so chilled.

Beautiful city.
Beautiful city.
Excellent museum of modern art, de Fundatie.
Beautiful bookstore inside an old church.
The best cake and chocolates in the Netherlands at Bakkerij Lindeboom. Try my three favourites: Dark chocolate filled with 5-spice, dark chocolate with cardamom filling, and the milk chocolate filled with caramel and sea salt. Try the others too. Many are prize winning chocolates.

I had only the time to visit quickly the city center for a dinner. I was raining so we could not appreciate very much, but I am sure that the hystorical part of the city, for what I could have seen, is very interesting and charming. I'll try to visit it again in the future.

Very nice town with a lot of nice places where to stop for a drink of a coffee and good for shopping. The center is almost all pedestrian and it's perfect for a nice walk in this historical town from Overijssel.

I use Zwolle as a stopping point and each year on my way to Assen, I explore a little bit more through the narrow streets within the island. There are some fabulous places to eat and chill, its a lovely place.
Hanze hotel is located in the city centre within walking distance of the train station as well as all shops, restaurants and bars etc. Check in was ok - the room was nice and clean. Even though it was in the city centre we didn't experience a lot of noise which was great. We were there on a Wednesday in July which is a popular day/night as it is Zwolle's Blauw Vinger Dag. We didn't know about that but it was fun; lots of market stalls, bands singing and performing etc. The weather was fab too. I would recommend.
The unique experience of staying on a houseboat was great. I loved waking up to see swans and all sorts of waterfowl. Norbert was so kind and accommodating and drove us to and from the station, to the library to print tickets and to our son’s apartment. He even invited us to sing and dance around a fire with his friends for Christmas. It was unfortunate that Zwolle was experiencing record flooding while we were there but Norbert assured us we were safe and helped get our luggage over the floodwater.
It was the first place we stayed in a two week trip that wasn't moldy! We loved the automated check-in and digital keys but we suspect they do this so there is no one to complain to/assist. Blackout curtains were effective to block lights from the nearby bars but not noise. This hotel had specific non smoking rules that we were grateful for. Really comfy beds with mattress toppers.
Stayed for one night to attend Go_A gig at 'Hedon' venue which is only about 2 minutes walk away from this hotel.
Hotel very easy to reach from main train station, only a short bus ride and couple of minutes walk.
Nice staff, vending machines in lobby, plus small bar and restaurant (didn't have time to try the restaurant unfortunately)
Great room in a lovely old building with lots of character. Brilliant Tapas restaurant downstairs. Situated right on the main square with numerous other restaurants and bars nearby. Friendly welcome.
Street markets on several days, which were a pleasure to stroll around. Zwolle had much more to offer than we expected.
This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Each bed is within a self contained unit within a dormitory so privacy is assured. The bathrooms were modern and clean as were the kitchen facilities and dormitory. Located in the centre of Zwolle and yet quiet at night. Staff superb. Friendly and helpful.
Beautiful hotel with very helpful check-in staff. Large rooms and amazing roof terrace overlooking river.
Got stranded in Zwolle when NS trains failed for the day and I couldn't get home to Amsterdam. Will definitely be coming back for a planned weekend break after staying here!
This B&B is very close to Zwolle centrum and at an easy-walking distance from the railway station. It has all the amenities one could need, the bed was very comfortable. The room comes equipped with tea and coffee for the entire period of your stay (at least in my case :)).
The location was perfect, within a beautiful walk from the town center and right next to the station. Although it was right 8n the heart of things, it felt peaceful. Was a wonderful place to gather with friends and relax with a glass of champagne in front of the fire.
We booked the privelege room, there were free minibar items and also a Nespresso coffee machine with cups.
We arrived late in the evening and checked-out early next morning so haven't seen much of the hotel except the room :)
It feels like a quality hotel room, without the bustle of a hotel. There is not much room besides the necessities, but for a good nights rest, who needs exercise space. Walking through lovely Zwolle is enough :-)
Perfect option to stay in the center of Zwolle. Room was clean and tidy, breakfast was delicious. Easy access to explore the city, close to the central station. Staff very nice and attentive.
OK, probably biased because I got this exceptional deal, but it was an incredible value for money, the best I had until now in The Netherlands (traditionally very expensive for hotels)
Loved the room, loved the hotel in general, the breakfast was amazing and surprisingly included in the room rate. If I stay again in Zwolle, it would be my choice straight away.
Large and tidy room, with all the conveniences needed for a pleasant stay. Very friendly staff and had some great advices to make our stay in Zwolle even more rememberable!
