The location is amazing: in the middle of the mountain and surrounded by nature. It's just a 25-minute ride from the town Sighnaghi, which is convenient to spend the day in the town exploring and then just relax in this countryside resort. We stayed in one of the chalets. There is privacy and silence. Perfect place to relax and re-charge. Dinner was great and good portions. Some of the staff struggled with English, but with a bit of effort, we managed to communicate and understand each other, and they were very accommodating and friendly.

The tents were situated in a beautiful place and the views were amazing.
The host was really friendly and welcoming.
We had dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious, traditional Georgian food.

Sighnaghi is worth to visit. Unfortunately during my overnight stay, it rained a lot 100 percent. We couldn't see nothing about the town in the next day. But the evening we arrived we walked through the city and it was a nice small cute little town. It's worth to visit. Go check the monastery that is nearby. We missed to see due to the rain.

For me it is a town of love in Kakheti.
For me it is a town of love in Kakheti. We visited it 3 times: in spring, summer and winter and it was lovely every time. Tasty food in all restaurants we tried and good home wine in all guest houses where we stayed.
Signaghi is an old town on the top of hill surrounded by the wine valley. That is why it is a good place not only for vacation, but also for a marriage. There is a very beautiful, small and cosy marriage hall and after the ceremony you can just go for a walk in the town to do nice photos, because the town saved the fortress wall and old church. There are several houses for a rent where you can stay with guests and of course there are restaurants if you want to have a dinner after ceremony there.

Great views of the mountains.
Great views of the mountains. In winter its warmer than Tblisi.
The locals are laid back. No chance you can find coffee at 10 in the morning. No decent Americano can be had in this place.
The town opens after 10.30 am or 11.

We were there mid October at the hight of the wine harvest.
We were there mid October at the hight of the wine harvest. It is a great time to visit Sighnaghi! There are plenty of restaurants and cafes, and lots of things to see. It is a perfect place also to start excursions into the neighbouring villages and the wine lands. Overall a very relaxed and totally hassle-free atmosphere that really invites to stay longer. Fantasic views also from Sighnaghi into the Alasani valley.

Sighnaghi is one of the prettiest towns I've ever seen.
Sighnaghi is one of the prettiest towns I've ever seen. We stayed at Nana's Guesthouse which we would highly recommend. The house is lovely and Nana was really helpful. We ate at Pheasant's Tears and it was an incredible meal and wine tasting. The views from the castle walls are worth exploring as well. I would love to stay longer and walk around the city more, as well as visit more wineries. We visited Cherkeza's Zedashe on the recommendation of Nana who set up our visit, and really enjoyed learning about traditional kveri winemaking while we tried some excellent wines and chacha. This would be a great place to visit to see a small family winery in Kakheti!

Lovely village and very nice and friendly villagers.
Lovely village and very nice and friendly villagers. Great place to do wine hopping because each restaurant has their own wine. One of the place we like the most is Traveler Hotel and restaurant. Their wine is amazing and the food is tasty. One day is more than enough to explore the whole town. But if you like to chill out in a different restaurant with a nice view you and stay a little bit longer.
Oh my god. So, first, the location is just perfect, just a spit distance to the bus station. But most importantly, the host lady Viktoria was just wonderfull. I have never met such a warm person running a hostel. She offered wine, watermellon, pancakes, coffee, whatever she could think off. If I ever find myself in Sighnaghi, I am definately staying here. As a cherry on top, she also speaks decent english, which is very impressive since she is a elderly lady. I wish her all the best in life.
What a lovely place! Nato and Lado guesthouse is the place you feel most welcomed. Everyone greets you with a big smile, congac, and watermelon. Nato is a lovely host who offers all the kindness imaginable and even goes out of her way to ensure you have a good stay. The grandma is sweet and professional, an independent woman who runs the business. I’ve traveled a lot in Georgia, and I should say the hospitality I saw in this guesthouse is a whole new level. Thank you again for everything!
The landlady was incredibly helpful and charming. She brought everything we asked (like a new pan for cooking, more wood for the fireplace...) and she even sent me a couple of things that I forgot in the apartment when we left.
We stayed 5 adults, a baby and a dog. No problems at all
The place is located 15min walking from sighnaghi center. A beautiful forest road we walked gladly even in the cold evening.
I really recommend this place!
- very friendly family that welcomed us
- drinking-water for free available
- sitting area and hammocks in the garden and the forest
(you should use mosquito spray while sitting outside)
- big pool
- we had a delicious breakfast outside - one of the best we had in Georgia
- comfortable beds
- nice view over the valley
It is a very new guesthouse. When we were there the construction around the area was just finished.
Hotel History is a lovely, clean and well-maintained hotel with amazing bedrooms - enormous, with plenty of room. It included a well-stocked mini-bar. An abundant breakfast, which is additional to the nightly tariff, but fairly priced with great coffee and a variety of local, fresh Georgian dishes. Very friendly staff who took a lot of time to help us navigate ATMs and restaurants, and showed us some highlights of Sighnaghi.
Perfect location in the center of Sighnaghi. The hotel was very nice. Not too big, not too small. The staff was really nice. Because we had a baby, they changed our check-out for free to 1.30pm. The restaurant has a beautiful terrace and they have piano players in the evening. The rooms are quiet. Also, it is clearly more upscale than other hotels in the area which can feel a bit too guest house-y for some.
Hotel Traveler was such a treat. The location was superb, the room was comfortable, the building was recently renovated, everything was decorated with cheer for the Christmas season, and the owners were so wonderful. The breakfast was spectacular, and prepared just for us. Yogurts, breads, cheese, fruits, honeys and jams, espresso. It was a special time in a special place. Thank you, Hotel Traveler.
This place is beyond words, one of the best accomodation experiences I’ve ever had in my travels, Nato has been running this place for around 15 years and it still felt like we were the first people to stay here.
If you want to experience authentic and sincere Georgian hospitality, be treated like a family member and meet like minded travellers this is the place for you.
This was the best place in all Georgia, the owner family is absolutely wonderful, they offer breakfast and dinner, food is amazing! Room was very cozy, clean and comfortable with an amazing view to the mountains. We felt like we stayed with our friends not at the guest house. I recommend this place to everyone who goes to Sighnaghi!
This is without a doubt the best guesthouse we have had the pleasure of staying in. Vano is the funniest, most caring, and helpful host any traveller could ask for. He made our time in his beautiful home a highlight of our holiday to Georgia.
The best place we stayed in during our 3 week vacation in Georgia. Had really nice smell in the room, we liked it so much we bought our own. Very friendly host, we got some fruits and iced coffee when checked in and delicious breakfast.
The best place we stayed in Georgia! Very comfortable and quite rooms with a nice terrace and a wiev on Alazani valley. The owner Cisana is very friendly and helpful, she cook delicious homemade breakfast, we liked it:)
Ideally situated, nice and cosy hotel in the centre of Sighnaghi. Restaurants, coffees and shops in close neighbourhood. Just several rooms, friendly staff. The room has a very nice balcony with a pleasant view.
Super friendly host, supportive and providing additional services and perks in heart georgian style. Everything is new and comfortable.
All of us felt a part of the family during the stay.
Amazing experience, we were welcomed as if we were true family members. Georgian hospitality at its finest. Looking forward to seeing George and his family on my next trip to Signaghi
The location is good, the staff is quite friendly and honest, the next door of the hotel is a popular restaurant, but we found the hotel's food actually tasted better.
The rooms are clean and cozy. Tamara and Genadi are very welcoming - they will share the beauty of Georgian culture and make you feel at home from the first moment!
