I was born in Namibia, we revisited this time to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, attending a service at the Christuskirche on top of the hill. It's a clean and easy place with lots to see.

Windhoek is the most beautiful , clean city with many lovely places to give you a taste and pleasant stay in Namibia. However, one bad experience such at poor customer service at Hilton Hotel can be a turn off for the rest of your stay. In fact you will forced to cut change for hotels if you came on a business trip and you could easily cut your holiday short.
There are many more hotels/places with good offer/value for money, better customer services and comfort stay. In my option, definitely not Hilton hotel. I booked out the next day and enjoyed the rest of my business trip in a cheapest hotel, good customer care in short small but might.

Windhoek has a long colonial history, with interesting museums, galleries and landmarks. The natural history museum was my favourite.
The landmark German Lutheran Church, in the centre of town, is a wonderful place to visit.
It has too many restaurants to mention, but Joe's Beerhouse is the best. The variety of meats on offer, the atmosphere, the decor, absolutely everything is just so incredibly awesome! A MUST for any visitor to Windhoek.
One can easily get a cab, similar to Uber, called Lefa, which is extremely quick to respond and take you wherever you need to go.
Next time I would avoid being coaxed into taking a local taxi off the street, as the operators are mostly unreliable drivers and one can end up in dangerous areas such as the very poor locations.

its a quiet and beautiful place, the people are just friendly as if were from same country or house! On the price just add breakfast on it if possible and reduce price of food if someone wants to order!
This place was my home away from home, while staying in Namibia. Went around the country and everytime back in Winhoek, stayed there.
It's very nicely designed, the staff are very helpful, it's clean, has a bar, a little swimming pool.
The breakfast is excellent. They have a kitchen if you want to cook.
What else do you need?!
Very nice self-catering accommodation in Windhoek. Location was great with secured parking. Washing machine very handy which helps when travelling light. Very good communication with host with very clear instructions. Very large shopping mall nearby for all you need. Only 5 minutes by car to Christuskirche (city centre)
Am Weinberg is a hidden gem in Windhoek. It is part of a quaint little development in town, which contains a few decent restaurants, a conference center, a spa, and a few other services. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff solicitous and pleasant. I was hoping to extend my stay but they were fully booked.
This hotel is in a very good location, especially to explore the central part of Windhoek on foot. The entire property is fenced in and one feels secure. Breakfast was good and delicious and they make scrambled eggs or bacon/sausage for you as well if one likes. Definitely recommended!
This hotel surprised us not only with the smiling and kind personnel but also with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and various breakfast options. But the best of it was a rooftop bar serving original cocktails, hookah, meals, and a sunset view over Windhoek.
Very good resort fot staying in Windhoek. Close to city centre by taxi, but far enough of city rush. Receptionists are very helpful and kind, accomodation is great in variety of price ranges, ambiental restaurant and really good and rich breakfast included in price.
Everything, Simply the best place to stay in Windhoek. The rooms are completely amazing, the team they were amazing with us, Mrs Paulette helped us solving a problem we had in the car, I won't accept going back to windhoek and not staying on this hotel.
Location is great to spend a few days in Windhoek between the trips. It allows easy access to the city as well as to avoid the traffic when going out of town.
The look of the premises is also charming.
But the best part is hospitality of the staff.
We love staying here as often as we can when we visit Windhoek. The food is excellent, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the staff is always very polite and helpful. It's a beautiful quiet, natural setting in the middle of a busy city.
No breakfast, self catering Unit. Value for money. They need to install Air-con and Hotel Dstv packages. I will always go back there. Host is very friendly and always available. Anna you are doing great job there.
Kind of what you expect from a large city centre hotel. Well managed and accessible. We stayed here for one night before our flight. The rooftop bar and pool are great! Would recommend for staying in Windhoek.
After three weeks of Safari camping, it was a blessing to come back to this hotel with the spacious rooms and fabulous shower. It’s also good to see the concierge again, Marvin, who we just really liked.
The hotel is very nice with a small pool, mini-golf and also a tennis court. The rooms are spacious. The staff is nice and ready to help. Really great choice for a stay in Windhoek.
Overall the staff were great, it was a little hostel like vs hotel but met our needs. They said they were fully booked but it felt like we were the only ones staying there.
Brand new hotel, rooms were comfortable, great location in Windhoek. There is free self service onsite laundry and a pool, both of which were a very pleasant surprise.
