There are some run down parts of Eastbourne but it is near the sea and there is a lovely wide promenade. Easy to access the cliff walks on foot or by car. Beautiful scenery and the weather was glorious.

The pier is a nice place to visit on a sunny day, as the walk around it is nice. The are many restaurants and cafes to choose from to eat and drink. The town centre has many high street named shops as well as a cinema to catch your favourite film.

I love Eastbourne.
I love Eastbourne. The big long beach that you can walk all the way. Love sovereign Harbour, both have great resturants. Good shopping in Eastbourne town. We had a lovely curry near old town and great food in the crown and Anchor. Not forgeting the Bandstand where we saw a fantastic Motown band. Always good acts on there and two bars.!. Everyone had a great time dancing.

Such a lovely town, plenty to do & see, massive beach, lovely pier with victorian tea rooms , pub with live music. Lots of nice shops in high Street, lovely shopping centre. Nice places to eat, lots for children. Little train that goes to Beachy Head or to Sovereign harbour, nice little trip. Everywhere very clean, ideal fir all age groups. Local people very friendly

Eastbourne continues to offer an amazing opportunity to relax, centred next to the magnificent surrounding countryside, yet also offering a clean, well maintained seafront. The shopping centre offers all the well known names in a pleasing pedestrianised manner. The town has that feeling of being clean, safe and unique.

The hotel was close to the pier and town centre but far enough away to also be quiet at night. The seating outside was great they had a smoking side and non smoking side. Good spot to sit at night. I can't fault their helpfulness, friendliness and willingness to put themselves out to help. They really deserve better. Other plus points: The is location perfect - right on the seafront, and an easy walk to the town centre (even with my walking frame). I also had brilliant sea views. My host provided helpful information about the area, including a hike along the Seven Sisters. They offer a number of breakfast choices.
