The stay was really good, it’s cheap compared to other places here on the island. The Room is basic but has everything you need! It’s clean in the room and I didn’t have any animals in my room! Soufiane is such a great guy, and is doing everything to make your stay as good as possible!

This place was perfect for me and my wife. The shade from the trees and breeze from the beach was so nice during the hot days. It was peaceful and relaxed during the day and quiet at night so we slept well.
The local Thai and Burmese community that live near by were so welcoming and friendly and we also met some nice fellow travellers. It was nice to experience local life and get away from all the tourists.
Peter (our host) was a very nice guy. Really good with communication and gave us everything we needed. The property itself was comfortable and clean and right by the beach with 7/11 and many restaurants close by.
We will definitely be back in a week for couple night to end our Koh Phangan experience!
I was in haad rin beach, it pretty much is a village.
I was in haad rin beach, it pretty much is a village. A nice one, but no sidewalks, everything is cheap, a bit dirty. Compared to Phuket it really is a small village. But the full moon party was amazing, so much fun! So it definitely was worth it!

A nice little island with not too much tourism.
A nice little island with not too much tourism.
The drawback is that there aren't that many touristic facilities, but it makes for a quiet place.
The best way to see the island is by scooter, which can be rented at many places.

Koh Phangen has something for everyone.
Koh Phangen has something for everyone. You can come here to relax and get away from people like us or join a big party and be surrounded by lots of people. Just watch out for the Tuk Tuk drivers. They are like cockaroaches. The Tuk Tuk drivers are probably the most scetched people on the island. The food is cheap but stick to the Tong sala Food market and Big C or Makro for food. We noticed when dining outside the Tong Sala food market hit or miss with service and quality. You almost get the feeling that the Thai people dont want you here when you eat outside the tourist areas. Been coming here for 10 years and it seems like things are going down hill for Thailand in the area of customer service and self respect. Its not as magical as it used to be.
