Mississauga is the site of Toronto Pearson Airport, so many visitors to the Ontario capital pass through without even realising. Once a Toronto suburb on the shores of Lake Ontario, Sauga (as it’s affectionately called) is now a city in its own right, though it’s not immediately obvious where one ends and the other begins.
Both have in common the broad horizon of nothing but water on one side and a skyscraper-dominated skyline on the other. The most iconic structures are the curvy Absolute World towers, said to resemble Marilyn Monroe. Over the road is one of Canada’s largest shopping centres: Square One.
More stores are in Sherway Gardens Mall near Toronto Golf Club, just one of many within Mississauga. There is also a staggering number of parks, including some lining the Credit River which enters the lake by Port Credit historic village, home to lots of cafés, restaurants and bars. Salmon migrate up the river, so fishing is popular.
The fact that this was once agricultural land inspired the design of the civic centre, overlooking the Living Arts Centre and the Art Gallery of Mississauga across Celebration Square.
Booking.com’s Mississauga accommodation options include hotels by the convention centre, apartment complexes with hot tubs, and cheap motel deals near the Hershey Centre.

Like most Canadian cities and towns Mississauga is clean and not overcrowded and noisy. Traffic was quite tolerable and the restaurants we ate in offered terrific, delicious food. My personal favorite was a Korean spot that had great fried chicken , etc.

The facility was clean and presentable, the staff was courteous and friendly as well but unfortunately our room wasn’t well prepared.
We had 6 guests stay 2 of the bed were put together with the last one (pull out bed) had no sheets, blankets pillow etc ready. We understand it’s not ideal to have such amenities laying around but not to have them in the room at all and then travel back to the concierge was inconvenient. Regularly something of this nature isn’t a matter to review about but they didn’t even have all the amenities needed on hand. So we were short blankets and pillows for 2 guests.
Best Western Hotels are usually Top notch service providers but this location did not reach that level.

Was not happy when the kitchen tap leaked down the counter to the floor causing a big puddle and guy try to fix it by banging on it when it clearly needed a whole new faucet. I washed dishes in bathroom sink before going to new room that had a disgusting tub that we had to put a towel in to step in to shower. When I asked to check out late was told I had to pay $60 after already being ripped off for this horrible place. I would not recommend not to mention the bugs.

Immaculately clean hotel and suite.
Immaculately clean hotel and suite. Breakfast offers tons of variety and dining options are different each day. Housekeeping provided fresh towels and daily room cleaning. Staff was very friendly and super courteous.
This is a Bait and switch con game or rmaybe even false advertisimg. A lot more expensive than expected. No wonder the don't trust anyone with a very detatcjed atattitide It was A Cold reception, with lots of hidden fees such as a hidden market fee?, Hey, this an industrial park in Mississauga, not the overpriced Niagra Falls: You wouldn do well not to copy them.It was not a pleasant homecoming after a beautiful trip. Towels were thin It's not my job to market you hotel.
We were on a vacation tour to Niagara and Toronto, we booked this hotel through Priceline. The room was good and had plenty of space for 5 to 6 guests. Everything was clean except we saw some cockroaches in the kitchen. The kitchenware was clean, the internet worked perfectly, the breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay there.
My son wanted a view on a top floor so the airport was clearly visible and the staff happily obliged. Although at the far end of YYZ's runway 05, it's not the best view, but he still enjoyed it. The room was surprisingly quiet. This is a budget-friendly hotel but a reasonable drive outside of Toronto. It was worth it to save some money.
I had a 14-hour layover in Toronto, so booking was last minute! Best Western Plus, more than happy to accommodate! Free shuttle to airport was great, on-site restaurant/bar offered good food/drinks & the bartender & reception staff were beyond nice! If I have another long layover in the future, I will certainly rebook.
The hotel is 10 mins away from Toronto Airport, diatance is excellent for unplanned stays due to flights cancellation etc.
The bed and pillows are "perfectly comfortable"
Vishal did quick check-in procedure.
Breakfast are homey, was way good, and the Filipina lady was accommodating. Plus the pancake was yummy! ;)
We chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport and the free shuttle service. We had an overnight layover in Toronto during both, our flight to our destination and back again; so we booked two nights at this hotel. On both our visits, we arrived late and left early. The shuttle driver was courteous and friendly.
The ALT Hotel at Toronto Airport was great it is linked to the airport by train. The rooms are clean and are well appointed with an excellent coffee machine. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant but does have a great bar / bistro which offers excellent pizzas and salads. The staff are all very friendly.
I use this hotel always when ever I go to Toronto/ Missisaga. But this time the cleanliness was very poor … not I used to see before. Checking in took us long time although we were the only family in front of the checking desk. Our booking was several days before our arrival
Airport shuttle service turned out to be very convenient especially because we had to go back to the terminal later on to pick up our delayed baggage. We also enjoyed the hotel restaurant and easy access to downtown Toronto via public transportation.
This is a great hotel to stay at if you need a place close to the Toronto airport. The room was clean and spacious. Great to have the shuttle bus, place to buy some small items to eat, the breakfast was also good.
Good location, clean room, great stuff who proactively provided help and suggestion.
I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next stay in the future if I visited Toronto again.
Very pleasant stay. New hotel with upgraded rooms.
The hotel is close to Mississauga downtown.
Staff were friendly and the hotel facilities were excellent. Good breakfast.
Property was super clean and so cute! It was so nice to have the extra bedrooms/bathroom compared to just a hotel room. And just a short drive to downtown Toronto!
We love the pool and water slide. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. There are some nice restaurants nearby. And just a short drive to Toronto!
