This is a great choice for walking the Peloponnese Way. The room had a small kitchenette with enough utensils to make a simple dinner, which was appreciated. Breakfast was great with a selection of homemade Greek savoury filo slices, cheese, boiled eggs, sweet fried Greek donuts drizzled with thick honey, cakes and greek coffee or normal coffee and tea. Everything was delicious and really enjoyed. The hosts are lovely people and we really enjoyed our stay.

The balcony had a glorious view. The provided breakfast on the balcony was a huge pleasure. It had crisp white cotton bedding that was luxuriously wonderful. She was understanding and helpful and worked round my gluten free requirement spectacularly well. It was lovely and quiet and in a great location for walking. Access to a communal kettle. Highly recommended.

Vitina is a great place to visit located just below the ski...
Vitina is a great place to visit located just below the ski center of Mt. Mainalon and close to other brilliant villages of historical interest. Vitina is a lovely, scenic village where many brilliant restaurants, cafeterias, shops selling hand-made products/food of high quality.
Another point worth mentioning is the easy access from Athens by car and the good provincial road network to Vitina.
Fun activities I would suggest are skiing, hiking, trail running/mountain biking, sightseeing and just relaxation. Needless to say, snowball fight during the winter months.
On my side it is highly recommended for families, couples of any age, ski/snowboard fans as the slopes are not overcrowded and definitely hikers/trail runners.

Vitina is a great place to relax and enjoy the countryside.
Vitina is a great place to relax and enjoy the countryside. Around the Plateia, a sufficient number of restaurants and caffes keep you busy for a day or too. Walk the "Road of Love" and take pictures there. Buy some honey from the local farmers.
Make sure to visit nearby places like Stemnitsa, Dimitsana, and Limpovisi.
The hotel setting was peaceful, in beautiful surroundings, close to Vitina which is a beautiful and lively township with many attractions. It is within driving distance of the many other lovely towns and villages in the forested mountains of Mainalo. The service was friendly and gracious; the breakfast superb, and the main building, with its deck overlooking the pool and surrounding garden, was perfect for quiet drinks in the evening, tempting us to stay put rather than explore what was on offer in the nearby villages.
Amazing suites, in only 2 minutes walking distance from the town center. Located at a quiet little street with a forest view from the back yard. The rooms are warm at all times and well equipped. Breakfast was very tasty. The highlight of our stay was the owner, Mr Alexis and the Housekeeping lady, who made our stay very comfortable with their attentive and warm hospitality! Thank you both! 🌟I definitely recommend it and I will visit again if ever back in Vytina.
We came in the off season and were the only guests, which was a bit strange feeling. However, the hotel is stunning, the rooms spacious and the dining area quite attractive. This is a great launching ground for exploring the area. It is expensive for a Greek hotel, but it is also more luxurious than most hotels we stayed in our travels. It is very reasonably priced from a US perspective.
The location is great, near the center of Vitina, you can walk to all the nearby restaurants and shops making it ideal for people who would like to stay in Vitina. It's a great choice overall, you will not regret it. Overall the hotel will keep your needs satisfied. The room was nice warm and cozy.
A warm welcome from our host Vola who took us to a room with amazing views over Vytina and the circle of mountains.
In the mornings she brought us an incredible breakfast which set us up for some walks on the Menalon Trail. The room was warm with central heating, much needed in the cool evenings.
Facility is on the high end with a wooden "ancient" feel without losing it luxury. The staff was very helpful and nice.
Roon equipped with a small kitchen sink, and large balcony.
We received a coffee maker machine upon request which was very pleasent.
Hotel is located in a beautiful area inside the forest. Perfect spot for a relaxed stay!
Staff was very attentive and the breakfast was decent.
Overall we had a great stay and will definitely choose Chalet Elati when we come back in the area.
Excellent stay, great service, the rooms were spacious and sparkly clean. Can’t thank enough the hotel managers for their help. All COVID-19 measures were properly followed. Yummy breakfast! Amazing view! Thank you!
Vitina house was a lovely place to stay in a picturesque location. The staff were very helpful. The village of Vitina itself is about a 20minute walk away and has lots of nice restaurants and bars.
Convenient to town. Good parking. Most especially the friendly and courteous staff. Vicki and Alexis. They made us the best coffee we have had in Greece with our great breakfast.
The hotel is spacious, cozy and clean. The hostess was pleasant and kind. Helped us get settled and order a taxi to a restaurant in the nearby municipality
