Sozopol is a great region, a perfect combination of sea, beach, Ropotamo river, historical and geographical beauty with medieval old town and Winds Castle.
It is good for cycling, swimming, hiking. There are nice restaurants in the new town, just on the beach.
It's quite stretching with the parking in the old town area.

This is a beautiful historic seaside town, with so much to do and see, with wonderful seafood restaurants serving fresh fish caught each day from the local fisherman. I would say it is very charming and romantic rather than touristy. Beaches were amazing and the harbour lovely. I would advise to try to book a room with balcony overlooking the harbour if you can. We were lucky enough to do this and it was wonderful. The streets in the old town are cobbled so make sure to wear sensible walking shoes!

Sozopol is a lovely and quaint old town, with beautiful views, reasonable prices and tasty local food. Local artisans are still available - for paintings, jewelry or other objects. It has nice beaches and offers a good alternative for spending a seaside holiday, as compared to the other Bulgarian seaside resorts - we prefer it.

Sozopol genuinely has something for everyone - great beaches, great places to eat and drink, a delightful old town, history a-plenty, but also nightlife of all kinds if that's your thing. Every year when we discuss where to stay on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast, wherever else we visit, we always end up spending at least a few days in Sozopol.

Sozopol is a former fishermen village and they kept the architecture. The old town is wonderful to walk in, lots of places to eat well, lots of buildings to admire. Don't miss out the local Museums. Sozopol has 2 major nice beaches, but don't be shy, go also along the rocks, you will like the small areas there flooded with wild sea life. If you are lucky, you may be fortunate to see the local shows held in the Amphitheatre. You will find a lot of small art galleries, and hand made things and really cool street food.

Old town is really nice. come and spend 3-4 days not much.
Old town is really nice. come and spend 3-4 days not much. Most restaurants are too expensive and not on quality you expect. Beaches are not good so you must travel to have a great day on the beach. Definitely go to Sozopolo when Apolonia is there. Parking is close to impossible.
We stayed at all inclusive light. The food was amazing! Every day we had different and varied food, all declicious, lots of options for vegetarians too.
The room was very spacious. The room and pool was very clean.
Although the don't have a private beach, they gave us some umbrellas.
Free outdoor parking, with access by card, however not monitored (no guardian or cameras around).
The beach is very close, about 50m away.
We arrived just before 14.30 (lunch closing time) and they immediately led us to lunch, even before checking in.
Probably the best place to stay in Sozopol, especially if you are looking for something away from the crowds. Brand new, stylish, quiet with breathtaking views. You can spend hours on the balcony! Hosted by amazing people going above and beyond to make you feel amazing! Breakfast is delicious! Homemade food served in the room, so you can enjoy it on the balcony. The salty water pool is a must!!! Really good Greek restaurant nearby recommended by the host.
Thank you for everything! We will definitely visit you again!
Very big room and direct sea view.
we had everything: kettle, glasses, mugs, refrigerator, hair dryer, flatiron and an ironing board, little shower gels and shampoos.
The bed was very comfy and the windows really stopped the waves sound at night when the sea was really noisy. The balcony has sun protection.
Everything was very clean and the owner always asked us if we need anything.
You are between the old and the new town, the old town is not far. There's a public parking near the hotel.
The apartment is clean, quiet, and spacious, with a really nice balcony. Its location is very convenient. Nearby, you can find a big supermarket like Lidl, which is just a 2-minute walk away. Within walking distance, you have various options:
1. Enjoy bars at Kavatsi, such as Exe.
2. Explore the beautiful beaches of Sozopol.
3. Visit the charming Sozopol old town.
4. Experience the beaches at Kavatsi/Smokinya.
A taxi ride to "Gradina" will cost you around 10-15 euros.
The whole facility is amazing! It is like a mini city, but extremely clean, neat with lots of plants and trees. The hotel is brand new and it is stunning. It was very clean, the staff were great and the food in the restaurants was very nice. The location is on point. There is hot connection to beach Zlatna Ribka and Gradina via bridge over the main road, so you don't have to go out of the facility. Old town of Sozopol is also close within 20 min walking distance.
It was the best hotel we've stayed in so far. The room was very clean, the beddings and the towels were changed every 2-3 days and the view from the balcony delighted our eyes every day. The beach nearby was the best beach from Sozopol. In the morning we liked to swim in the calm sea, in the afternoon we played in the waves and in the evening we liked to stay on the hotel terrace to admire the beautiful sea near us. We thank the Solinaria's staff for everything.
Lovely friendly boutique hotel only short walk to beautiful and full of culture old town of Sozopol.
Shops, beaches are on your doorstep.
Good beds will ensure you will have an excellent sleep
Super tasty food, especially meat dishes, fresh salads, all produce is so fresh and top quality.
Guys at the restaurant are so professional and make you very welcome.
All staff are friendly professional team that really passionate about their work.
Lovely hotel right at the beach in Sozopol. The family running the hotel is beyond accommodating and very friendly. Perfect for a relaxed vacation either at the quiet, clean hotel pool or at the beach, which is a three minute walk.
Diverse and very tasty food options at the hotel restaurant, very good breakfast buffet. Hotel itself is very clean and modern.
We would definitely like to come back for sure, it has been a dream vacation.
I liked the location most of all - a quiet street in the old town near the sea.
The staff was friendly and helpful, no problems there.
The hotel displayed lots of art on the walls and had several small libraries. You could even grab a book to read from their libraries, which is a very nice touch!
The room was clean and spacious and the view wasn't bad at all!
Staff was so cool and accommodating. You can upgrade to all inclusive for very cheap. Parking is a little tricky as it it is pretty much ON a very cool popular beach but you can definitely get lucky with a spot as it stretches from the hotel all the way to the beach and onwards to the beachfront RVs/ campsites. Such a cool area with amazing beach bars as well.
The location is perfect! It has it’s own private beach which is very close to the hotel itself. The location of the hotel is right between the city of Sozopol and Primorsko both of which are great for night activities. The rooms are very clean and tidy, the staff very friendly and the food Is outstanding ! I definitely recommend this family resort!
The hotel is a bit withdrawn from the hectic life, but within a short walking distance to the beach and on our 4th floor, which we had rented all three rooms and therefore had to ourselves, we had a fantastic view of almost the whole of Sozopol! We received very friendly service and can only say good things and we know we will come again!
The hotel was recently renovated, has a beautiful design, new and elegant furniture, comfy beds and good quality shampoo, shower gel.
Our room had a fridge and a sofa, although they are not mentioned in room description. It's very close to Sozopol Central beach and 10-15 minutes walk to Old Town.
LOCATION - The location is excellent! 2mins away from the beach and the beach itself is one of the best I've personally seen on the Bulgarian seaside. The whole housing estate is very nice, the pools were not bad as well, not too crowdy even though it was high season.
The hotel was more attractive in the photos. The location was in the new part of Sozopol, there are no buses. There are beaches near the hotel, even a nudist beach)) 20 min. wolk from the hotel to the Old Town. Breakfast was good. The pool was clean. Thank you.
The hotel is very well situated - near the city center but far enough from the noisy crowds. A 10 min walk and you get to the Kavaci beach (one of the best in Sozopol). Clean pools, friendly staff.
The location in sozopol was superb. A 1min walk to the beach and a 10min walk to the old town and marina.
We had a room with direct pool access but we only used the pool once.
This is one of the most beautiful hotels in Sozopol. The location and views are incredible, maybe the best. The staff is polite and always go out of their way to assist you.
A small family hotel, placed near the 2 beaches (5 minutes walking), at walking distance to the old town. Parking in the yard. Very clean. Good breakfast.
