I love that everything that was available to me was functional, clean, and the place was really quiet. I had been going through a burnout, but the room allowed me to relax and have uninterrupted sleep, without it feeling claustrophobic, like in many other hotels. The windows were wide and fully openable. The nearest traffic is far enough so that the noise isn't bothersome. This wideness of the windows can be a downside, but to me, it was really helpful during this time of year (month of May). Also, people who stay at the hotel are allowed to use the Olympic swimming pool, which is in the same building. How cool is that!

Amazing city with a lot of history. Ulica Macedonia is amazing, with lot of cafes and restaurants. The Old Bazaar offers a glimpse to the history with the Ottoman empire. Lots of monuments from the reach Macedonian history (from Alexander the Great to now). Lots to do if you are an outdoorsy type. You can take the cable car and go to Vodno for some spectacular views and hiking. Canyon Matka is near by with amazing views as well. The nightlife is really good with a lot of choices. The prices are cheaper than the rest of Europe, so you get more for less. I will visit again and will spend more time in Ohrid (Medieval town on a lake, and Kokino (bronze age observatory)..

Skopje is a beutiful city with lots of culture and history, lots of very nice traditional restaurants and some very nice walks. The river Vader runs through the middle of the city. One of the bridges over it is 500 years old! Be sure to visit m vodno mountain. Home of the larges cross in Europe, cable car journey to the top is 1 euro per person, you can see right across the city. Also vodno is good for people hiking or mountain biking. There is plenty of refreshments at the top and lots of areas to relax.

There are many errors in the listing.
There are many errors in the listing. The reception is closed from 10 PM till 8 AM. There is no bar (I don't use anyway). There is no seating area in the room, except for a straight backed chair at the desk. There is no in-house restaurant. The only meal available is breakfast, served at 8 AM. It's not a continental breakfast. There is one set menu: orange juice, omelette, a cheese sandwich, lots of sliced bread and coffee.

Skopje city center still seems to be an undiscovered city for many western traveller's and is a must see even for a day or two. It is relatively small, safe and still cheap compared to other cities. The people were all friendly and went out of their way to assist and guide. The city is relatively flat so easy walking and a mixture of new and old architecture. As always construction still taking place in parts.

Absolutly crazy architecture, designed by Polish architects after disastrous earhquake in 60. Amazing shuk. Great Makedonian wine (my favourites: Bile makedonskie from Stobi and dry white Aleksandria from Tikvesh). Nice, cool, people, speaking English. Friendly town dogs. River bank and parks. Absolutely my favourite capital and country in Europe. Hope Makedonia soon joins EU.

Skopje has a small city center, the buildings are in a strange style, not fitting in the towns history. There are a lot of statues, there literary everywhere! most shops are in shopping malls, the one in the center looks very old and is in bad shape. the others are far from the center, but modern and really nice.
its good for a city trip, the food is amazing and the prices acceptable.
one of the best places is the old bazaar, close to the center.
great breakfast. The hotel is an old style hotel located in the very center. Which is convenient, but creates a lot of problems for parking.
We could not find a parking space near the hotel - only at the paid parking in the garage - 17 hours for 900 dinars - about 15 euros. Credit cards were not accepted, and the "cashier" tried to make another 5 euros on us...
At check-in we were offered to move the car closer to the evening to the parking lot at the hotel, but there was too little space for our big car there.
It was my third stay at the hotel reason being that the rooms have a breathtaking view of Skopje's City Center beneath you. The hotel is on your way up to Mount Vodno at the bottom of the mountain so you will need to take a taxi to go the City Center which was no problem as taxis are quite cheap and reliable. The reception staff including the owner of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay at the hotel should I visit North Macedonia again. Highly recommended!
Hotel Premium is located in the best part of Skopje, the Old Bazaar district. The hotel is brand new, stylish, and super clean. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and well sound-proofed. We were so happy with the breakfast buffet which was extensive and served on the top-floor restaurant with beautiful views of Skopje. Everything 10/10.
What a beautiful hotel. Not right in the centre of the city , only 2km away but a five minute drive in a taxi, taxis are very cheap. It also has an incredible restaurant which was full every lunchtime and evening. It was full for a reason. But the best thing about the hotel was the staff, who were so helpful and kind to me and my friends on our first visit to Skopje.
Hello! Small cozy hotel not far away from city center and situated in quiet green district . Room well furnished and fully equipped, bath,tv e.t.c. Breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. it seems to me is really convinient time. Stuff is helpful and friendly, ready to give some advice about interesting places and spots. Choose it and enjoy Skopje.
Stuff is super nice and helpful. Our room was spotless, and the breakfast was excellent.
We got extended check out unitl 14:00 with no extra charge and hotel arranged taxi to the airport for us, they use electric car which was another pleasant surprise.
All in all, we plan to book Solun Hotel & Spa again in our future visits to Skopje.
Kanet is cosy hotel, very suitable for short stays (2-3 days). Room and bathroom are clean, heating is good. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast is decent. Really excellent price/quality choise. Hotel is by the park, which is very conveniant if you workout or enjoy walking. Location excellent, 10min easy walk to the center.
Absolutely wonderful little hotel, clean, comfortable, and perfect location. The restaurant is the best in town. The pasta dishes are wonderful. And everyone, from the front desk, to the housekeepers, to the restaurant staff, are all lovely! This was a perfect stay. 5 stars for everything!
Cosy hotel at the very heart of the city center. The staff was super helpful and welcoming. Transfer frrom and to the airport was a convenient option. The room was comfortable and I had everything I needed. Breakfast was a la carte and tasty. Would stay again.
Kind host which picked is up at the airport and did a convenient check-in.
The appartment is very large with three fully equipped bedrooms and a large living room. Very good value for price ratio. Location right in the center of Skopje but not noisy.
The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Located in Skopje center. Walking distance from main square and most of the attractions. Breakfast is very rich. I have been in this hotel before and I plan to go back again, whenever I am in Skopje.
I loved the apartment! It’s very cozy and right in the center of Skopje. Super close to the best bars and restaurants. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Damjan was a great host and helped with everything i needed 😊
Hotel is easy to find in a great location near the center. Owner is extremely kind and helpful. The apartment is huge with everything you need for short or long stay. Our stay was comfortable and it felt like home. Highly recommended!
A lovely hotel above Skopje with a view of the city. There is also a nice view of the city from the bar on the 6th floor, where breakfast is served. Standard rooms are clean. It's on a hill so it's further from the city center.
With just a few steps you are in the old Bazaar and 5 min walk from Skopje center.Shops.and cafes are all around the hotel plus taxis are a stone throw away.......perfekt place for a short stay.
The hotel is literally in the center of Skopje, like 20 m from the statue of Alexander.
The hotel has also quite a nice design and the people working there are very kind and helpful.
Location of the hotel is really nice, by the river and on a walking distance to restaurants and city center Breakfast is always good at this hotel, as well as on site restaurant.
I stayed only one night because I was passing through Skopje. It's a decent hotel, clean, big rooms, and you don't stray too far from the main road like staying in the center.
