Absolutely nothing. As soon as i got into the room i went down to the front desk and ask them to cancel the second night and refund the money since we were leaving to another hotel for the second night. The only reason we stayed the first was because there was no other empty hotel because of an event.
The only good thing about it was the girl in the front desk (Atalia) who was very nice to me when i said i would’t stay there. She was understanding and said she would make the refund for the second night without any problem.

Two days in Ponce is enough. Best dining is Mesa Cocina.
Two days in Ponce is enough. Best dining is Mesa Cocina. Period. Vistas is delightful for cocktails and light accompanying fare.Excellent drinks too. The Serralles family mansion (Don Q) is well worth a visit. The Ponce Art Museum is reopened on a limited basis. Check before going. The building itself is worth seeing. Having stayed at several properties, I prefer the Boutique Hotel Belgica, charmingly renovated to retain its history. Opposite the Hotel is a food truck there daily, until well into the evening. Legendary.

In past visits we did a great deal of sightseeing, but much less on this trip. We mainly walked around Ponce, enjoying the various types of architecture, visited local parks, especially the Parque de Bombas, the Art Museum, much of which was closed for renovation following hurricane. Sites we recommend for others include the Museum of Musical Instruments, the Art Museum, which will probably be fully open within the year. Other places we have enjoyed on past trips were a coffee plantation, the Castillo Serralles, the Tibes indigenous ceremonial site, and La Cruz del Vigia, which provides a grand view of the southern part of the island and the Caribbean. Another place we have visited in the past was El Jonque, the national park and tropical rain forest, which lies on the road between the airport in San Juan and Ponce. We will undoubtedly visit Ponce again, since it is less busy than San Juan.

Ponces best years were in 70/80s.
Ponces best years were in 70/80s. It still has some interesting places and things you need to see, but also a lot of Ruins and there is no clean sandbeach in the south.
2 days in ponce are enough if you want to see all good places in Puerto Rico.

Ponce is great on Friday and Saturday nights, they have lots of bars and clubs open within walking distance of the Square. They also have a casino.
Chango is my favorite bar in the area, but love the others as well.

Loved Ponce. Ponce has grown a lot.
Loved Ponce. Ponce has grown a lot. Never saw this city so beautiful and places I can enjoy. La Guancha is beautiful now, although it needs more work done after hurricane Maria. Othwerwise, great! Love the vendors, especially the piraguas. Hmmm....

The staff was friendly.
The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean and smelled good. Nice cold air. Beautiful balcony views. Quiet hallways. Did not feel crowded and touristy. The breakfast wasnt that great and the pillow did smell a bit damp. Beds were still comfortable. Parking also should be available to the left of the building
I would rate the hotel as faded glory. It had a beautiful entrance, and the grounds kept up well. Our room was exceptionally spacious, but had no furniture. There is no view. It is backed by a rusted stadium. You can tell this was once a very nice resort and although they try, it certainly is passed its prime. The pool, however, was clean large, and we had it almost always to ourselves The, attendance staff was very friendly and helpful
The staff was absolutely wonderful! The hotel was in an old building that we found quite charming. We had a room with a king size comfortable bed with a balcony over looking some of the beautiful old buildings of Ponce. The location was right among all the historical sites of Ponce. There was also a washer and dryer available for are use, which was great after a week of traveling. I would definitely stay here again.
The room was clean(ish). Well, except for the random guitar pick (of all things) that was under the hotel info book on the table – not a problem per se, but the fact that it was missed calls into question how thorough their cleaning was. Oh, wait, I was supposed to write about what I liked, wasn’t I? Well, it was a room, it had a bed (two, in fact) and I was able to sleep. That’s the best I’ve got.
Loudest hotel ever. Noise level is absurd, up to 90-105 dBs (measured by phone app) up until midnight. Hotel has a club in the lobby and the music just pierces every wall of the room. Moreover, place is extremely dirty. First room they gave us was so dirty they had to change us to a new room. Everything smells moldy, staff was unpleasant, and it is impossible to sleep with the loud music on.
The hotel is going through its forth redesign since it opened in 1895, which is absolutely amazing!! I just hope that with each renovation, they keep the originality of what it was. The room we stayed in was small and enjoyable, the bathroom was nice.
If we're ever back in Ponce, this is where we will stay.
The Ponce Antique House is beautifully decorated, simple and elegant!… It had everything we could need for a short stay at Ponce. Is just two blocks from the main Plaza Las Delicias!! We loved our stay there in an antique old house feeling with all the modern amenities! We certainly will return!!
The location is good, right in the middle of historic Ponce. As for the Melia itself, the lobby is beautiful. The first floor has that old decor with a twist of modern that looks amazing. However, it's quite deceiving to the rest of what that hotel REALLY is.
The checkin was easy and the apartment was clean. The property has parking and it has two rooms and a (tiny) bathroom. The area felt super safe and only a short drive from the centre of Ponce.
Coziness! Air conditioning on point. Laundry area fantastic. Floors are beautiful!! Hot water AMAZING!!!! Very quiet street. 5 minutes away from Ponce airport!!!!
