Lovely, spacious, well equipped apartment. Late afternoon sun on the balcony with view of the sea and cliffs opposite. Close enough to restaurants for going out to eat in the evening, and a gentle stroll back up the hill for a peaceful night cap on the balcony. Lovely host. If I'm on Gozo again I'll definitely revisit Avalon
Overlooking Marsalforn Bay, the Calypso features a rooftop swimming pool with sun deck and cocktail bar. The hotel lies on Gozo, 10 km from the Ferry Terminal with connections to Malta.
Xlendi is a super fishing village. Great walks and things to look at. The ferry across from Malta is so easy and the whole place is relaxing. Plenty of restaurants to choose from across different budgets, a deli and a take away and a shop.

Xlendi has a great combination of locals and tourists from what I can gather. It is rarely too crowded nor too noisy. The people there were a combination of families with young children, young adults and more mature travellers so it had a little bit of something for everyone. There is a selection of restaurants although they unfortunately serve very comparable food to one another. The water is amazing and the view is great! Lot of spots to swim and enjoy various water activities. The view in this neighbourhood on foot is also incredible. Not too far to get to the rest of Gozo though Uber drivers tend to keep cancelling so you may need to get a taxi via your hotel.

In Gozo 90% of the tourists are british pensionists.
In Gozo 90% of the tourists are british pensionists. Beside 3 or 4 restaurants and the boat/diving service there is nothing. Taxi service is good and quick, not expensive. I most liked the small places at the rocky coast and the cultural sites. I will definitely not travel again to Gozo.

Pretty bay for a swim, nice (if strenuous) cliff walks, small village but lovely to eat/drink there in afternoon or evening, definitely book a table for a weekend evening as everywhere will get full by 9pm. Best to get your own transport, the Go-To hire cars are rarely available in the village and Bolt taxis can be few and far between all over the island (we did a bit of waiting around for one to be available) avoid the white taxis, better to wait for a Bolt to be available

Xlendi has always been our favourite location in Gozo.
Xlendi has always been our favourite location in Gozo. Good restaurants and facilities for our stay. We noticed a number of large apartment blocks being built around the bay and notably ‘Health and safety’ finally caught up with Xlendi..There are now life guards on duty and roped off swimming areas and safety rails on the diving platform along with movement activated street lighting along the waterside walkway.. most would see as positives but for us has taken away the simplistic charm that first attracted us to Xlendi. Still a must visit location
Great apartment to relax by the water. With 2 bedrooms, I really liked that my friend and I could have our own spaces after a day of exploring Gozo. It’s very easy to get to from the bus station and only 10-15min from Victoria. The master bedroom had a very comfortable small couch. I loved laying there with the window open, listening to the day tourists and the waves. Since we went off season, only a few places stayed open late. But there’s lots of restaurants next to the water and a few grocery stores nearby.
We loved the family feel in the guesthouse. The staff/owners made us feel like we were visiting friends. Everything had a very personal touch. The room had everything we needed and we enjoyed the breakfast and hanging out by the pool. The walk into town is very short and has some great views of the Xlendi bay. There are plenty of great food options in the neighborhood and a convenience store is also within walking distance. Parking on the street was very easy and free.
- this is truly a family run boutique hotel with only 8 rooms. the whole experience was so intimate. Doreen is an exceptional host who truly cares and knows all the spots to go to as she’s born and raised in Gozo.
- the view is absolutely breathtaking
- breakfast was delicious and made by Doreen’s husband
- the pool was a great spot to relax
- all the staff there were so nice
- rooms were comfortable and had everything we wanted/needed
The location was great, easy walking distance to all local facilities and the watch tower and other walking areas around Xlendi were very interesting. Extremely convenient for bus service into Victoria. The hosts were very helpful and informative about the local area. Nice and quiet, we enjoyed Gozo very much. Villa Marni Parfum is very spacious and modern and we enjoyed our stay very much.
Fantastic location, several good restaurants nearby, hotel generally good. Staff were mostly efficient and friendly.
I would not have a problem staying there again should I return to Xlendi.
I reported to them the risks associated with older people slipping in the bath whilst showering in the absence of any sort of friction mat. This is a common and serious failing in many hotels.
We had a wonderful stay at the Cesca”s boutique hotel. The rooms are beautiful, clean with a wonderful view. Location is perfect. The staff were all very friendly, enthousiastic and helpfull, especially camelin. We recommend it to everyone, nicest hotel in Gozo, and we certaintly coming back.
San Anton guesthouse in Xlendi Gozo is a perfect place for your holiday to relax. It's very quiet .The rooms and pool area are spotlessly clean. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpfull The breakfast is good and also there is no problem for parking.
The location was great, right next to Xlendi beach. There were also a lot of restaurants nearby, a mini market and plenty of sea sports' stores around to book activities. The hotel had great evening programs (concerts, etc) and great services (restaurant, bar).
Amazing stay! Great location, super friendly hosts. The atmosphere is so unique. I visited Gozo just because of this apartment and don’t regret do a moment. And as for solo traveling woman, i felt safe there. Highly recommend ☺️
The hotel was easy to find and beautifully decorated. I had a stunning view from my balcony. The pool area was really lovely, and breakfast was delicious. We walked into town for dinner, which was easy and not too far.
The room had a beautiful sea view of xlendi. It Was quite comfortable including the beds , hotel was surrounded by good restaurants. Breakfast was adequate. We had a relaxing holiday and would be back again
You can't beat the location overlooking the bay, if you have sea view room. As we have stayed several times before we were greeted like old friends. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety.
fantastic location close to hiking, beach, restaurants right at the base of the hotel easy parking a two minute walk away. balcony overlooking the sea. big space
