This is upscale Andorra experience. Rooms are well designed, big, service is excellent. Small slope just next to it is a big plus for families with small kids. Restaurant is good.

Fantastic location just 5 minutes from ski gondola where there are ski lockers making it super convenient. Nice warm clean and quiet rooms with views of slopes and parking adjacent. Breakfast was a modest buffet but evening meals (we were HB) were good quality and good wholesome portions. The hotel has a fabulous terrace which gets the late afternoon/setting sun and is very popular. Staff were all super friendly and helpful.
Located at the foot of the Grandvalira ski slopes, Soldeu Maistre Hotel offers rustic-style rooms with a private bathroom. It has a restaurant, ski storage and free onsite parking.

Location and rooms were excellent so was the very friendly and welcoming staff. Big thanks to receptionist Mayra who lets us check in promptly after we had a long journey and she was very personable, efficient and professional. Also buffet meals were great, we had half board with a nice variety and Michel's charming service was outstanding, giving us recommendations of local dishes (spot on!) and made our stay most pleasant. Muchisimas gracias :-)

Excellent for a family- some excellent restaurants & very family friendly bars. Apres ski a bit quiet if you were young free & single.
Harp bar excellent - great craic with staff- music twice a day.
A warning for family shusski beside main gondola hired out sleighs for kids to use but you weren’t allowed use them on the slopes beside. No refund when we returned them 2 minutes later- told us there was a place 10 minutes away in a car😡
Fat alberts great restaurant staff & quality food. Bar staff upstairs- well just expect a long wait before you get served🥵

Excellent skiing area.
Excellent skiing area. All staff in the lifts, ski instructors and ski school staff were very friendly. We even had maintenance staff lift deck boards in the eating area to retrieve my daughter’s phone!
Restaurants options are good but bookings are required in peak season. So, spontaneity can be limited.
Only minor criticism would be that the Apres Ski party's can start a little late (around 6 PM). So, hard to go straight from the piste and hard to schedule in if you are staying a bit out of the town centre. We were there during half term though. So perhaps an atmosphere or entertainment starts earlier at other times.

It was my first trip to Soldeu and was surprised by the good service provided. Stayed at the Naudi Hotel which was only a few minutes walk from the lift. Lockers were provided by the Hotel directly at the lift (free of charge). We had dinner at Naudi's one evening and the food was outstanding and can only recommend. Also to recommend is the Michelin Star Japanese Restaurant at the Hotel Hermitage - probably the best Japanese food I ever had.
Soldeu is a very small village but offers everything you need including small grocery stores. Nevertheless I was surprised by the prices which are comparable to swiss skiing areas.
It was definitely a great experience discovering the beautiful slopes and skiing area, but in the future I might still go for Austria or Switzerland. Compared to other skiing areas it was not very international and mostly spanish guests.

Nice mountain little town.
Nice mountain little town. Good to relax and go either skiing or hiking. Enough restaurants and bars to try, some with live music (at least during skiing season).
There’s a couple of clothing shops, 2 little supermarkets and even a pharmacy.
I do miss a bakery.

Great resort. Plenty of runs & lifts. We didn't sample the nightlife, but there were several pubs(some with live music on the weekend) and loads of resturants to choose from. Plenty of shops for groceries, gifts and of course ski gear.

Skiing was extensive and suits all standards.
Skiing was extensive and suits all standards. The hotel is super convenient for the lifts. There are not loads of restaurants in the resort, as it is quite small but the quality is very good. And the sun always shines!
This is an awesome place to spend a few days in Soldeu. It is very clean and one could not ask for better hosts. The charm of a small hotel is enhanced only by the staff's joyfulness. Antoine was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He did manage to lift my hospitality expectations!!! Thank you.
This would be an awesome summer base, particularly because they are offering trips and hikes.
The food is fresh, and they are very attentive to their guests needs. The bar has a decent selection and a nice atmosphere about it.
A fantastic luxury apartment well positioned for skiing the Andorran slopes. Ticket office and lift access to the slopes just down the hill from the accommodation. Ski hire shop, supermarket and a host of restaurants just a minutes drive away.
A clean and comfortable apartment with great bathroom and kitchen facilities and modern decoration. Safe indoor parking at ground level and a large private ski locker (room) for storage.
Great communication from the owner. We would happily stay again.
- Proximity to Ski Resort: The Xalet Montana Hotel’s location is its biggest advantage. It’s incredibly close to the Soldeu sector of the ski resort, making it very convenient for ski enthusiasts.
- Ski Locker Included: The inclusion of a ski locker within the room cost was a thoughtful and practical touch, adding value to our stay.
- Friendly and Helpful Staff: The staff at Xalet Montana were super friendly and always ready to assist. Their welcoming attitude made our stay more comfortable.
Spacious for two of us, would be comfortable for a family (second bedroom bunk beds); very clean on arrival; 15 minutes walk to telecabine, bars and restaurants; restaurant choice in Soldeu not massive, but good; bright open aspect along the valley; everything we needed for a comfortable stay (exception of kitchen note in negatives); covered balcony; garage parking (10 euros/night); for us, very good for a ski-ing break.
- The staff was super amazing! Everyone is really welcoming, helpful, and nice to chat to
- The location is the best: really easy access to Soldeu and Grau Roig ski lifts, but in quiet area (not next to the roads)
- Nice common area with fireplace
- Accommodation has parking
- Next to the slopes and snowboard park (however: the park and lifts were not open when we were there due to lack of snow)
The free ski bus organized by the hotel was good and efficient enough, it had to be booked in advance and the way up the hill to the cable car, is almost doable in ski boots, but not enjoyable.
The spa was good enough. And also most of the staff was gentle and well manered.
Also it is possible to communicate with the hotel via whatsapp, for booking spa, skibus and solving issues, was very helpful.
went feb 1/2 term 2022the rooms were big we had a 3 bed room and they were proper beds not one camp bed. the meals were buffet style of a high standard drink prices were reasonable. there is a free bus to the ski slopes morning and night but you have to book your time the night before. even though the hotel was full there was never a problem getting seated in the restaurant or bar
Second time here in the last month. Good hotel, good facilities. Staff is really helpful across all areas, from the reception to the bar to the vans. Great client focus and overall flexibility. Also had a small issue with something at the hotel, but management immediatly took action. Great receptiveness to feedback
Convenient central Soldeu location in attractive stone built property less than 5 minutes walk with ski boots on to the telecabine. Helpful friendly owners. There are lockers on the ground floor for your skis and boots. View of the slopes from 2nd floor apartment. Well equipped and pleasant apartment.
Excellent location, nice and well equiped appartment, very helpfull owner (muchas gracias, Isabel!). All is well organized and convenient.
Great place to stay in Grandvallira for ski vacation. Very recommended!
Plenty of room for 6 people in the 3 bedrooms, everything worked and good spec, easy walk to the centre of Soldeu. Ski locker up the hill at the top of the lift is a brilliant facility.
Big bedrooms that were warm and comfortable. Delicious buffet breakfast, great central location close to the ski lifts and the hotel lobby/ bar was very cosy and felt very much at home
Hotel is nice and reasonably priced. Rooms are small but clean. There is a shuttle to Grau Roig ski area. It has a lounge are to watch sports and have a snack.
The location (centre of Soldeu) is perfect.
The breakfast is good
The staff is really helpful and nice.
The terrace in front of the mountains is very nice
