This is a beautiful boutique quaint gem of a place in Lijiang. It has a stunning view from the dinning room window of the rooftops in Lijiang. It is perfectly located, right in the middle of the Old Town Lijiang. The staff of this hotel is friendly, helpful and with a "I can help you with that" attitude. It was wonderful to spend Christmas here.

Time is too rushed, otherwise we must stay for a few more days

    Lijiang is GREAT, everything is phenomenal including foods, shops, entertainment, etc. One tip is that you need to install their "Da Jun din ping" app to get great value. This app can be used everywhere in China to get great value and advise.

    In 20 years the lovely, quiet and quaint town of Lijiang has...

    In 20 years the lovely, quiet and quaint town of Lijiang has developed like no other, become a tourist magnet (seemingly mostly for Mainland Chinese tourists) and has almost completely lost its charm... unless you wake up early and walk in the deserted streets at sunrise (before 8am). From morning onward it is choking with tourists, even in low season (can't imagine high season !!), discos at night become restaurants during the day, and the whole place is just guesthouses, retail shops and restaurants. Even old ladies selling strawberries can't give change on 20 yuan and ask for payment by AliPay or WeChat Pay!! Shuhe and Baisha are no better, victim of their "heritage" status that has completely destroyed the soul of those places. Luckily, with electric cars and electric scooter the air is fairly pure and the sky still blue. It makes for nice photos, but forget originality. A very good example of a UNESCO Heritage site that has become a victim of its success... go and visit before it's even worse, but in low season please............

    With covid over the crowds are back, did i mention the crowds? dont go its far too busy now Only Intercontinental gives a reminder of the former peace of Lijiang - this too only a reminder when you see the scrum for breakfast

    The staff were fantastic.

    The staff were fantastic. In particular the manager Joye accommodated every request we made and did it with a smile and genuine sense of friendship. We needed some complicated forward planning and both travel and accommodation reservations to be made. Mr Joye assigned a very nice, intelligent and competent young lady named Cassie who did an amazing job and we are now traveling again with all of her advice and recommendations proving to be excellent. We would throughly recommend using this, and most of the staff speak English.

    It was a nice ancient town to walk round and was very picturesque. The good thing was that it was car free. Unfortunately the shops sell most of the same things. The places to visit around Lijiang were easy to visit by car.

    Super cozy place located right on the edge off the old town and pretty quiet. Staff spoke English, and went above and beyond with their hospitality, including making sure I had directions in advance and even helped me carrying my bag from the taxi. I could also use the washing machine for free! The rooms are super comfy, even the bed was soft for Chinese standards and you can even see the mountains from the upper floors. Chinese breakfast was decent, and included. I only stayed in Lijiang to explore nearby places and it was perfect for that!

    This accommodation is located very close to the North gate which is very easy to access from the main road. There’s also local tricycle service to deliver the luggages to this place( not free). The other entrance leads you the old town, very easy to find restaurants and shops. The place is very clean, cosy and nicely decorated. The accommodation staff was very helpful about providing information and and helping us to book a tour, rent a car. We had very good experience at Jianshe Inn.

    The hotel is equipped with professional translators. The hotel is located just one street away from the ancient city, making it convenient to enter and visit the scenic area. The room is clean and hygienic, and the service attitude of several butlers is particularly good.     We went to so many places in China and there were many good stays but here was one of the best to stay, not only because the value of money and the location within the old town, but also the staffs here, the people were very friendly and helpful, they help us with places to visit and also with the trip to lugu lake, we can leave our luggage in the hotel during the trip in other place, thank you for helping us arrange all.

    Staying here is one of the best decisions for me! Staff are really friendly and helpful. The location is a bit far from the gate but they have the staff to help you bring the luggage to the hotel by small trolley which is so convenient. If you want a fair price taxi to take you from train station you can also ask Joye to help on it. Room is as nice as in the pictures. And the dog is super cute!

    Loved everything about this place. It is located in the old town but it is also in a quiet area looking out on vegetable gardens, a great place to relax. The room was very comfortable and well decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was really tasty, and the atmosphere is the restaurant was perfect. We will definitely come back here next time we are in Lijiang.

    Breakfast was decent. Joey's services was excellent. Came to China with my phone and internet completely cut off. Most grateful to Joey for helping me obtain a decent priced ticket home, plus many of the usual services. Without Joey's help, my entire trip would have turned into a nightmare. Hotel right in the middle of the old city. Nice tourist hangout.

    The house is very nice and quiet. It's also convenient to go out for food and take a taxi. The boss is very enthusiastic and helps to book tickets for the Lijiang Eternal Love VIP seat. If you book it yourself, it will go to the audience seat. I suggest asking the boss to book it, and they will recommend friends to stay.

    One of the coolest hostels I've ever stayed! It is very big and with several places, has a beautiful terrace with views for mountains. And stay at the Old Town of Shuhe. I particularly liked the Old Town of Shuhe than Lijiang. A very good place to meet people and make friends. The people who work there were very helpful.

    The best place in Lijiang. Jessy is an amazing host and will make your trip to Lijiang and Yunnan magical and super easy. In China there's nothing better than having a great local host. She even helped us after we left Lijiang and we were lost on a trail in Tiger Leaping Gorge. Highly highly recommend!!!

    The staff was really great. They helped me book bus tickets to tiger leaping gorge, and even walked me to the stop to make sure I got on the right bus.
