At first glance you can see that the apartment is newly built. It is simply and tastefully furnished, we felt very comfortable here. Everything was clean. The owners were friendly, so we can definitely recommend a stay at Lieblingsplatzl!

Very beautiful place to spend a few days or even more than a week. Plenty things to do - hiking, spa relax, good restaurants, beautiful sceneries. In Bad Aussee there are several places to eat or buy groceries. Whithin a few minutes you reach a lake to swim or a beginning of a hiking path. Good position for visiting Hallstadt, Bad Ischl or Salzburg. If you want to have dinner in a restaurant it is good to make a reservation otherwise you may have a problem to get seats.

Bad Aussee is great location. Surrounded by the mountains. We made lots of nice trips to the great tourist attractions ( lakes, sightseeing points) . We visited Wolfgangsee lake and atter see Lake which were absolutely amazing.
Only the downside of it was the parking in the city.

Bad Aussee is a very good area for cross country skiing in the winter, and also for mountain biking in the summer. The Narzissentherme resort is also very nice. Bad Aussee is also near the Loser Ski area (15 minutes by car).

It is a small town so it is very important to take note of the schedule for the trains. Much easier to go by car. Taxi is economical if you are in a group of 4 or more.
It is a beautiful town with quaint shops selling quality items
However shops and restaurants close early so you may not be able to find food after 7-730pm.

The scenery was magnificent in any direction you looked.
The scenery was magnificent in any direction you looked. I did two separate walks to lakes which were fairly easy but very rewarding. The small size of the town made it easy to get around. It seems they don't get many non German speaking tourists as virtually all signage was in German only. Fortunately I have some basic tourist German which helped. Most staff in hotels, restaurants etc could speak English though.

Cute little town.
Cute little town. Good basis for exploring the Salzkammergut and neighbouring Grundlsee and Altausee (both can be reached without a car - either with the Postbus or the Narzissenjet service (helps if you can speak German)).
Very spacious, clean, tastefully decorated. Tea, coffee provided and there was even a small bottle of prosecco and some fruits! Plenty of ice in the freezer if needed. Easy parking in front of the building. Owner lives in the same building. Very quiet area with beautiful mountain views from the bed room. Has all sorts of pots, pans, cutlery etc for cooking. Toiletries and hair dryer provided. A supermarket and petrol station a short drive away.
Very nice hosts, clean and well furnished rooms. For our small kid they prepared a cosy bed. Rooms decorated with traditional and cosy country side style.
Location is very good to visit the surroundings like Grundlsee, hiking routes etc..
Breakfast was not luxurious but everything was tasty and correct.
To highlight the friendlyness and willingness to help of the hosts. We felt like at home!
We will come back for sure!
We liked the nice Welcome sign that hung on the door, Christoph is a really nice and talkative host, who gave us all the tips and lovely places to see all around. He is available and very happy to share with us.
The apartment is cosy, with an equiped kitchen.
We liked the wonderful view from the window, the free parking, the decoration, and the calm all around .. And also being greeted by lovely cats !
Apartment is very modern furnitured with new technology in some areas like place to put keys, modern water heater, lamps.. There are a plenty space for stuff. Bed is super big and comfortable. Rooms are big also. Location for visiting Hallstatt is good, 20min by car. View from window is fantastic. Nature all around fantastic. Lot of parking space.
Our stay in Die Wasnerin Hotel exceeded our expectations starting with a warm welcome, lovely and professional staff specially Ms. Sabrina in the front desk, amazing room view, very good breakfast buffet, very special dinner and excellent facilities.
I strongly recommend this lovely hotel for those who love nature and relaxation.
The apartment was very clean upon arrival. It is modern, cozy, and comfortable. We especially liked the dining area in the kitchen, which has a great view and is perfect for late night talks with friends. There are convenient parking spaces in front of the apartment. We had a great time staying here!
It was our second time in this place, which I guess says it all. We love absolutely everything here and will keep coming again. This apartment is perfect! Comfortable, spacious, located in a gorgeous area, with incredible mountains view from the balcony. Great value for money! Highly recommended!
I LOVE the building. A real touch of old Austria. Grand wooden staircase. Tiled floors, huge reception area with a sun lit porch where there was a good traditional Austrian breakfast. Transportation was close and convenient. The walk into town is easy.
The apartment exceeded are expectations. It was spacious and cosy, perfectly clean, bed was super comfortable, and the Finnish sauna was such a great relax after a day of skiing. Tauplitz and Loser ski resorts were just a 10 - 20 minute ride by car.
Everything was perfect. Comfortable, clean room. Quiet location. Easy access with car to Bad Ausee and to the spa. Beautiful location. Delicious breakfast. Amazingly friendly staff. Geheimtipp ;)
Amazing space in unique property. You certainly have lots of places to sit and read and relax when the weather is bad. The bedroom is bigger than most apartments we stay in!
