The beds were nice and had a curtain and safe inside, there was a lot of space for your stuff and a big bathroom in the dorm. The staff was super chill, joined with the activities (like karaoke night) and there was a nice restaurant with great food next to the hostel!
WOT Peniche PinhalMar offers an outdoor pool, a terrace and a restaurant overlooking the ocean. It is located only 1 km from Peniche town centre.

Hotel fantastic - shame it was in Peniche because the place is a run down fish processing peninsula that smelt horrible. However we did find one outstanding restaurant - Os Americanos - seven of us ate here - could have a Michelin Star, the food was that good !

At first sight i couldn’t see the beauty of Peniche. But once I settled in and explored the beach and surrounding area it became clear it’s a beautiful place.
The beach is stunning, you have the choice of mingling with the locals or having so much space to chill.
The beach cafes were excellent and so well priced.
With so many restaurants to chose from, the seafood is delicious and again well priced. Simple food but made very well.
The Portuguese people are very welcoming and friendly.
A place I will visit again.

Friendly people lots to do but not marked on google maps so you have to explore alot of it yourself. The chapels are well worth a visit especially one of them that's at the far left of the peninsula. A monk was found in a cave there and they built a stunning chapel for him.

Peniche is a nice sea site town to visit. You can get fresh fish out of the fishermanˆs truck. We had a wonderful octopus in a restaurant by the Forte da Praia da Consolacao. Next time we will stay longer.

Peniche was our first beach town after visiting cities and it did no disappoint. It's a lovely spot and has a small beach town feel, as it should! It's was to walk around and there are many choices of bars and restaurants.

Some gorgeous beaches in Peniche and the surrounding area.
Some gorgeous beaches in Peniche and the surrounding area. We took some surf lessons which was great fun and the location for them is perfect. It's not a very bustling area, so if you're after a lot of atmosphere might not be the place for you.
What a gem this place is! Hosts Luis and Nadia are welcoming and helpful in sending you to all the best castles, gardens and beaches. The Portuguese coast region is a Mecca for surfers, but even for a non-surfer elder woman, staying here was the highlight of my visit to Portugal. It became a home; the lovely girls on staff (Tina, Vivi, Jule and Malwina) and young German guests included me as if I were their grandmother. I am an experienced world traveler but have never felt like I was family the minute I arrived.
Absolutely adored it! The hotel offers a range of fantastic amenities that truly elevate your stay: a heated pool, jacuzzi, snack bar, a kids' park, and even a pleasant work area if necessary. Our room was incredibly spacious, exceptionally comfortable, and impeccably clean. The breakfast spread boasted a variety of options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as did the kids, and are looking forward to returning soon!
Everything is as shown in photos. It was a good option for a short stay for someone who is coming by car. We arrived early and we got the room immediately without asking. Breakfast is simple but what is served is good there is a coffee machine with quality espresso. While the hotel is close to the water, it is the cliffs and the sandy beach is 5 min away by car which is not bad.
It's a great hotel right center of Peniche. Nice restaurants around and Marina de Peniche within walking distance where we took boat to Berlengas. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was so delicious with several food options. Overall we enjoyed every bit of our stay in this Hotel and definitely will come back. Thank you!
This place have a kitchen full equipe so i prepare my breafeast , super there . I eat in a lovely kitchen or in the garden
Quit street, near the center Big , bright room , perfect bathroom
And most off all the kindnest off the owner
La gentilesse de la propriétaire
I love everthing in this hotel ,
The view was very nice, as expected from the photos.
Interior design of the apartment was quite lovely.
A lot of space for two people.
Location is very nice independent of how you travel (car, bus, ...) and you can reach everything in Peniche quite easily by foot (port, shops, restaurants, etc)
Very good game room, I particularly loved the old-school arcade console with hundreds of games which brought me back to my childhood.
Moreover, the breakfast had a minor variety compared to big hotel chains I typically use for work, but the quality of each dish served was very high. Well done
The location was centric and you get a nice walk to the restaurants area. There was a fair which was also nice.
The common area is big and there is a lot of space and amenities like ping pong table, pool table, among other things.
You can rent bicycles and explore Peniche comfortably.
It was a large hotel with easy access through the dunes opposite to the beach. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The dining room was pleasant and we had a good meal in the evening. Parking was beside the hotel in it's own parking area
The unit was clean and inviting with its own private balcony. A perfect location to catch the WSL tour at Peniche - with just short walk over the dunes. But what we loved most was our hosts, who were so welcoming and kind!
Great location. Nice room looking over the harbour/inlet area. Parking a short walk away but not secure. Helpful staff. Nice breakfast in sunny room at the front of the hotel. Few bars and restaurants very close by.
The room was spacious and beautiful. There was a big bed for our dog. The hotel has many activities, I really liked the vinyasa yoga. the surf school is great. Thanks to Daniel we had a good progress in surfing.
Great location right behind the dunes of the beach, beautiful for walks/runs, surfing. Modern hotel with nice pool area (indoor as well as outdoor) and gym. Rooms are very spacious.
For a little hotel, they put on one of the best breakfasts we had. There are cozy sitting areas and parking was either right out front, or a short walk.
