Good location. Just next to the Geneva station. Lots of shops nearby including supermarkets. The hotel provides a microwave on the 8th floor and we could buy our dinner from the supermarkets and have it in the room. From the restaurant you can see the big fountain. The apartment was so nice and comfortable to stay in with all the essentials for a short or long stay. It is perfectly located, a five minute walk from Grenoble Central train and bus stations, with many restaurants and shops in and around the area. I would recommend a trip to Annecy and Geneva given the great transport links. The daily view of the magnificent mountains and cable cars from the apartment was a very nice added bonus.
Thanks to the host for patiently waiting for me when I was unexpectedly delayed and for the information about the surrounding area I thoroughly enjoyed the walks.
In summary I would recommend a stay in the apartment and rebook it! Merci beaucoup à la prochaine!

Known for its international diplomacy, Geneva is the gateway city to the Swiss Alps and contains many international organisations that lend the lake-side city a cosmopolitan flair. It is filled with the best in cuisine, diverse languages and people, and top 5-star hotels.
It's easy to fly in to Geneva Airport, and like the rest of Switzerland, the public transport system is incredibly efficient. And the antique shops and steep, cobbled streets of the Old Town can be explored by foot or bicycle.
Many of the sights are monumental buildings such as the St Pierre Cathedral, but you can escape the chilly winters inside museums and galleries displaying everything from the Renaissance to the Contemporary.
Even if getting out into the wilderness of the Swiss Alps isn’t an option, there’s plenty of nature accessible within the city limits. Parc des Bastions offers tree-lined walks and a game of giant chess and Parc de la Grange is a green space situated on the Lake Geneva promenade. Jet d'Eau, a 140-metre high fountain in the centre of Lake Geneva is beautifully lit at night.
With over 90 hotels available, Booking.com ensures that whether you are travelling for business or pleasure you can experience the best accommodations Geneva has to offer.

The boat tour around the lake is a great way to start to get to know the city for our 24 hour stay. On Saturday morning, as our time was limited we took advantage of an uber to get us to the area of the Red Cross Museum (which we did not visit ) and the United Nations which was not open for tours, but still great to see. We then took another uber back to the center of the city to enjoy lunch and a little bit more sightseeing before we had to leave that afternoon.

Really beautiful city and nice to walk around the old town.
Really beautiful city and nice to walk around the old town. Lots of things to see and do around the lake i.e. Ferris wheel, swimming spots etc.
Found Geneva much more expensive than other cities visited on the same trip so would factor that in to any plans to go there again.

One night is generally enough.
One night is generally enough. Our main interest was the CERN laboratory, which is easily reachable by tram, with travel passes included in the hotel room price. We also had time for a leisurely boat tour of the lake and a visit to the archaelogical site, though we didn't visit the museums, which are also siad to be very good.

It is a quite small city that you can walk almost everywhere historical or popular. public transportation is easy to use and you can go almost everywhere with it. there are nice restaurants and galleries to visit and some museums. if you want to get away for a long weekend and spend quite time Geneva is an alternative. Don't forget to visit close towns by the lake both in Geneva and France, they are very enjoyable and view worth travelling for one or two hours.
Definitely bother to climb the stairs of the cathedral, the view is mesmerizing.

Very beautiful city, loved the lake and the stroll in the city center. Botanical gardnen is lovely and so is the mini zoo and sites in Bois de Batie. It is quite expensive and while people are lovely, you can run into those weithers who understand English but refuse to speak it I only read about in the reviews of sites in France.

Carouge is a unique and super nice district!
Carouge is a unique and super nice district! Enjoyed the cafés, the small stores, the artisanal vibe, art where you look.
Great tramways, bus system - easy to get around. Next time by bike.
The city has lots to offer beside jet d’eau - of course the common chains but check out the area around WHO and Red Cross museum.
Staff was lovely, friendly and very helpful, and also good company! The location was great, both for its connection from the airport and to the city centre. Get the bus 10 Rêve at the airport to the Guye stop, and your ate the hotel basically. the same bus will get you to town and back at the airport in less than 15 mins. I enjoyed having a drink at the end of the night at the hotel bar and read a book or chat with the night receptionist. Overall it was very convenient and if i’m ever back to Geneva, i’ll stay here again.
Right across the Geneva train station, so it is very convenient to get anywhere around the city or even around Switzerland. Direct trains to airport and also to any other city in the country, with excellent local bus connectivity too. It is an old hotel straight out of an 80's movie, but clean and comfortable. A lot of food options around. The Geneva tourist card is a plus, I got it for free when booking the hotel. It gives you free access to the local buses and the airport express train too.
When I have arrived I could not immediately find the hotel, there's no sign Visionappartments. The best lead is the premises are just next door to Hotel Swiss on Cornavin. It is right opposite the Geneva train station. As it turned out actually that Living Hotel Geneve-Gare gets one better of its neighbor., the rooms are bigger, air conditioner blows chill all around the clock and, surprise, it is 30 Frank's cheaper'n Suiss.
Great stay, in the city centre, next to the train station, H&M shop, restaurants, 7 min walk to the geneva lake.
Friendly and helpful staff, parking is 3 min walk from the hotel (27 CHF per day but we had some discount card from the hotel and paid 15!).
There are sockets in the room for Europe, UK, US plugs which was useful). Bottle of water, kettle, tea, coffee, hair dryer.
The staff were friendly especially the check in staffs ; the location was perfect as there is a train stop right in front of the hotel ; the room was great ; and thank you to the government of Switzerland for giving “free transportation ticket “ to all tourist . It is really awesome as it allows tourist to go around free of charge . we don’t mind getting lost at all .
Compared to many other places this was more affordable for Switzerland. The indoor parking was convenient but came at a cost. Property is well kept, staff friendly and helpful.
We usually stay in 4-5* hotels but they just weren’t in our budget for this location, so we knew we wouldn’t get the same experience. The hotel was just a place to sleep. It served its purpose.
Victorian style I love it so much❤️
Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable. Also, staff are very helpful. In city centre, 2mins.in city train and bus stations, you can catch the public trams just outside the hotel which is free of charge. 5-10mins.walk to the lake. Good value for money. I will recommend and would stay again!
First time in Geneva, it’s beautiful🇨🇭
The shuttle to the airport is on time and ease of commuting between airport ane hotel.
Bus stop to City Centre is within a short walk. For Muslim, Geneva moaques can be reach by foot (15minutes walk).
Appreciate front desk staff understanding for allowing us to check-in early after long haul flight (20hours) from our departure.
it was one the best services that let me repeat my residence in the hotel twice in one week, timing is good and the commitment was great not only tho the hotel airport but this allow us to use public transportation in the Geneva airport terminal.
Mr. Aziz is the receptionist was of greater help who make my time is really pleasant
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was had a good range and was always plentiful. The Bircher Müsli was the best we've had in a long time. The location was amazing for transport links to and from the airport as well as into the city centre. Would recommended this hotel to anyone visiting Geneva.
We loved everything about the hotel. It was the first one we stayed at in Switzerland, and it made us feel cozy and welcomed. The room was clean and well appointed. The restaurant was fantastic. Great breakfast and dinner. The sweet man who played the accordion and sang made everything perfect.
It was outstanding and way beyond our expectations. Carouge is off central Geneva - in a cosy and neat area with lots of small shops. The hotel
Was in every Point super convenient. It doesn’t have a safe or a mini bar - if you can live with that; check Ibis Style hotel Carouge out!
Great location very close to the lake and not far to the centre
Comfortable
Bedrooms were clean
Staff were friendly
Breakfast was very good, food is expensive in Switzerland so it was nice to have this provided
I felt safe in the area as a solo traveller
Great location by Geneve airport. Somewhat easy to walk to (we arrived when shuttle wasnt running. Room was ready early. Staff was all very friendly. The best/largest towels we had our entire trip to Switzerland. Would definitely recommend.
The best thing about this property is probably the location. it is right at the border of Carouge, which I think is the nicest part of Geneva with the old houses and all it’s restaurants. for this reason I would stay at this hotel again.
Such a great hotel. The location is excellent, close to all the sights and the train/bus stations. The staff were excellent, rooms spotless and beds really comfortable. The best hotel I’ve stayed in Switzerland so far.
Friendly, centrally located hotel with a great roof top bar. All the staff were so helpful, with a big shout out to Alejandra in reception who helped us to find some of the best sites in Geneva
the lobby is nice, the location is close to transportation as everything in Switzerland , tarek the receptionist we meet at arrival was very friendly and offered Swiss chocolate
