We probably had the best suite in the villa with beautiful view and very comfortable room. Attention to detail is there, was lovely to climb in a very comfortable bed with hot water bottle in it!

Lüderitz is a beautiful old harbour town with plenty to do and see. We ate at the Portugese Fisherman restaurant and Essenzeit during our time there, both of which offered diverse menus. With the small town you can easily park your car in a central location and walk to all iconic spots, excluding the famous ghost town, Kolmanskoppe.
Next time we would like to visit Barrel's, a pub that looks great from the outside at least and apparently offers great Eisbein.
The wedding we attended was held at the Nest Hotel. The overal feel was wonderful and the decor done beautifully.
My only concern was the lack of gluten free options at the restaurants, but that wasn't surprising for such a remote location.

We only were able to spend two nights here but we could have stayed longer. There’s some lovely old buildings to see and photograph in the shopping main area. We visited Kolmamskopp, an abandoned town and Agate beach where you can see flamingos on the lagoon. There’s a couple of good supermarkets for restocking if you’re in a camper.

Luderitz was a gem of history, the most beautiful old buildings in town, and amaizing sunset views over the bay. Kolmanskop, just outside of town, is a must to visit. There is really nothing of Luderitz , that we did not like.

Luderitz is a very historical town with German colonial buildings and architecture. The abandoned diamond town of Kolmanskop is 10 km away and is a most interesting place to explore on foot. The waterfront area is good to explore on foot. There is also good seafood to be enjoyed at restaurants like the Portuguese Fisherman. Kolmanskop is closed at 1 pm while other attractions like the Luderitz museum and Felsenkirk are only open in the afternoons.

Beutiful town with many hidden gems. Kolmanskop is just out of town and is a must visit as well as the Dias cross and harbour.
I was pleasantly surprised. The town must be one of the friendliest places I have ever visited.

It is a clean, neat, overall safe place to visit.
It is a clean, neat, overall safe place to visit. We've checked into the hotel and basically covered most of the historic buildings, restaurants, shops and scenery by foot. Kolmanskop is a definite must to visit.
Well located guest house in the heart of Luderitz. Not much to look at from the outside, but the courtyard inside is lush , tranquil and cool. Units are self catering, clean and modern and come with everything you need. Hosts were super friendly and always made sure we were well looked after. Although in the heart of the town and parking is outside, there is 24 hour security And we never ever felt uneasy
The two hotel managers were extremely helpful to us going above and beyond what they had to do. We arrived too late to purchase early morning tickets to Kolmanskop. This was critical as we only had one morning to do this or we missed it.
They contacted a local tourist agent after hours and we worked it out in record time. Much appreciated and such good representatives of the hotel.
Our hosts, Felicia and Reggie, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The accommodation may have been small but it was very welcoming and comfortable. There was great attention to detail, including a little Christmas tree, to make it feel homely. All our self-catering needs were met. Felicia gave us great ideas on how to spend our time in Luderitz which was most helpful.
We loved our stay! The property has an outstanding view. Our room was well equipped, very comfortable and quiet. The host was exceptional and gave us useful information on where to go and what to see. Luderitz is a great little town and Shark Island Airbnb is a wonderful place to stay.
The hospitality was unmatched. Michael was constantly available for any questions and care. Together him and his wonderful wife had dinner with us our first night and we could see how much heart and soul was poured into this space. What a perfect home for our 2 days in luderitz.
Welcoming place in a very nice location. Room is clean and spacious. Clean bathroom. Room has fridge. The facility allows you parking the car next to the room. Center of luderitz its couple of min driving from the facility.
sunset view from the room is amazing.
location is great - right on the coast.
hot water in the shower
nice place to see sunrise if you climb up the rock just behind the hotel
Perfect location with beautifull seaview, very good breakfast and a spacious room.
Very friendly and helpfull staff.
When you go to Luderitz, I should not look further.
Timo is a really nice guy and super helpful. When there is a problem, he finds a solution. Next tim I will be in Lüderitz I will definitely go back to his Lodge.
A very nice family hotel with very nice hosts. The location is good, close to every interesting in the city. Nice patios with a place to have a breakfast.
