The property was spacious and had everything you could possibly think of for a comfortable stay. Good location near the railway station and town centre and lucky for us only a few minutes walk from the venue of the wedding we were visiting for. Also near a forest recreation area for nice walks/runs and a small zoo if you were there with children.
The city seemed a mix of really old and modern. You would walk down the pedestrian street between the usual stores and come to a cross street that had super old buildings. This kept you constantly looking up.

Typical, everyday sort of town.
Typical, everyday sort of town. A big agro-industrial plant on the outskirts. Some nice architecture in the old town. Good location near the shore. Banks, eateries, ice creams and shady spots to eat them.

Reception followed my only request, for a quiet room.
Well located, some 15/18 minutes walk from the (small) center, this hotel is pleasant and particularly welcoming.
All receptionists were nice and provided efficient help.
Breakfast (included) is also a strong point there.
Very very good price and much of quality. Really nice cozy rooms and pet friendly!! Even the extra price for my labrador was great and nothing excessive like in many hotels these days.
The staff was very friendly and the dinner was excellent. The Hotel is located in a nice quite area (the city is a short drive away). We had also an excellent dinner.
