The most amazing stay with an amazing host. Everything was clean, comfortable and homely. Would highly recommend staying here. The host kindly picked us up from the airport even after a delay meant we didn't arrive until nearly midnight and even took us to the train station when we departed. It felt like a home from home.

Sandefjord is very much a working, functional port town with good marina facilities for leisure boaters. There are plenty of options to dine out and have a stroll around the harbour/port area, but it is not really big on tourism as such, which is probably not a bad thing. If you are driving, the links to the major routes are easy to follow, and of course you have the ferry port for travelling over to Sweden.acer1United Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Very good location just five minutes away from Torp airport. Also bus are frequent if you are going to big shopping malls. Norwegians are friendly and nice also helpful to tourists like us if we want to go places and need to catch the bus My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Sandefjord. We went out of season with limited activities---a month or two earlier and i'm sure our thoughts would be different. So expensive to live not just in Sandefjord but in Norway. Same price as Oslo---thought it would be better value.

It was about a half hour walk to the port and all the shops. There is also a lovely park down there too with lots of interesting things. There is a supermarket around the corner from the house, which is open every day. We personally found it a little strange to have so many of the owners' personal belongings around but it didn't spoil anything. It was just different but also interesting.

The hotel is in a great location for exploring . It's only a 5 minute walk to the station so you can easily get to and from Torp. The staff can't do enough for you and are all so friendly. The apartment was spacious, has a fully equipped kitchen and a separate bedroom. Location - intimate housing estate, peace and quiet, a bit far from the railway station. For non-motorized people, it is worth choosing the option of getting there by scooter or asking the owner about the possibility of renting a bike :))AgnieszkaPoland

The hotel is a unique hotel in the centre of Sandefjord, if you want to spend the night in an historical surroundings is the perfect hotel for you. It is very romantic, very clean and the breakfast is perfect. I ate salmon and eggs in the morning, and I am Italian so am not used to it! However I enjoyed my breakfast!
