Sanok is an average size city with lots of beautiful scenery, delicious ethnic food and polite service everywhere. It was very easy to communicate with the local crowd since English is well spoken in this town. The Old Town Square (Rynek) has beautiful architecture full of history, including churches and castle. I would recommend to visit this town and enjoy the serenity and the relaxing atmosphere.

I came to Sanok to do genealogical research, since my grandmother was born near there. I had not expected the incredible beauty of this part of Poland! Rolling hills and a beautiful view in every direction. in addition, there is kayaking on the San River and an interesting open air museum (just steps from my hotel), a wonderful historical museum (with an amazing collection of local icons dating back to 1645), and a delightful town square with cafes and shops (I loved a Carpathian cafe with burgers on traditional rolls, and a women's clothing shop -- I believe named TOTO with lovely, affordable things). And if you have a car and can wander more broadly, I understand there is great hiking.

The stay in Sanok was my third and mainly to visit my relatives. I liked the open air museum (Museum of folk Architecture). Even that most of my meals were with my family there are many restaurants with a good value for money. I did have some issues with locals bus system as even Information Centre could not help me.

Sanok had more fun things to do that we had time for in our 2 days. Arts, history, and wilderness, too. I would love to be able to spend at least a week there.
Driving is a bit crazy, and we got lost many times, but on foot it is a wonderful place to explore.
We loved the central location and opportunity to stay in an apartment rather a hotel. Parking available on-site/near the building entrance, everything was very safe in the community. Artur and Monika were lovely hosts - welcoming to us and offered local recommendations. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Many channels on the television, thoughtful coffee and tea offerings, comfortable bed. We would certainly return! Thank you.
The appartement is very well located, close to the river San and to beautiful nature and yet all tourist attractions of Sanok (Castle, old town, open air museum …) are within easy reach. The flat is quiet, pleasantly large and furnished with everything you need for a stay. There is a grocery store right next door. The owner is extremely friendly - he helped us a lot.
The hotel is a lovely small but full of fun! We went bowling in the hotel which was a lot of fun! (Very busy my advice is to pre-book if you like to go bowling) we had dinner in the hotel really tasty food! Well done to the chef. Breakfast was also really nice lots to choose from from food and drinks, different snacks.
The hotel is very pleasant, with large rooms and a great bathroom. The breakfast is fantastic (don't miss those crepes!) and the food generally is great. The staff is warm, kind, and helpful. And there was great parking for those with a car. And my room had an awesome, large balcony.
The room was HUGE. The beds were comfy. The staff was exceedingly kind, though we spoke no Polish and they spoke no English. There is also a Lidl right behind the hotel which was nice.
The breakfast was hearty, and someone scrambled eggs for guests upon request.
This is a really beautiful apartment! It has everything you need and the hosts are just amazing people.
It’s also super close to the center area so you can just have a short walk to the old city.
I’d definitely recommend it to everyone who is visiting Sanok.
If you're looking for a cosy place to stay in Sanok, this is a great choice. The place is good value for money, located close to the bus/railway station and the town centre. Very clean, the bed was comfy, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was awesome!! The host was very friendly and kind. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. I will definitely recommend this place to others who maybe traveling through southeast Poland.
Apartment is very conveniently located for me when I visit the in-laws. Its clean, modern, spacious and has all the amenities you would want. Its my go-to apartment when I visit Sanok.
Very cozy and nice apartment with all the needed facilities in the centrum of Sanok. The host provided excellent service along the way. Highly recommend this property!
Very pleasant hotel in a small park with a small playground. Delicious breakfast and good restaurant for dinner as well with good, mostly Polish dishes.
