We loved everything about this place, staff, facilities,...
We loved everything about this place, staff, facilities, clean, hottub/pool and the temp was great in both of them. Hot breakfast was great and Tarrin made the extra effort to assist with anything anyone needed. Thanks to you all.
The only things was light flashing off and on beside the fire gaget.
A bar of soap would be great unperfumed. We would stay here again as it is an amazing place.

Collingwood is a very interesting place to visit.
Collingwood is a very interesting place to visit. There are all sorts of activities for every type of person. A visit to the Blue Mountain Ski Village is a must, even if you have never skiied in your life (me!) Also, make sure you find the old historic part of town, on a street I think is called Hurontario. Lots of little shops to explore and very interesting historic buildings like the old Post Office (now Service Canada). The Scandinavian Spa is a special treat at a very reasonable price. You can spend the day there for as little as $85 - go in the morning, then have your lunch there, and finish off at one of the wonderful saunas! Your body will thank you. There are all sorts of bike and walking trails, and maps to get you there. The Scenic Caves are also not too far away, but you also must check out the new Eco-Adventure Playground at Sunset Point Park on the lake - great for adults and kids alike! We have visited Collingwood several times in the past few years but this year we stumbled onto the Collingwood Brewery - a great place to spend an afternoon! Check out their monthly calendar online as they hold lots of interesting events/music. Collingwood is a jewel of a town in cottage country! You won't be disappointed.

Collingwood is a pleasant enough area on Georgian Bay dotted...
Collingwood is a pleasant enough area on Georgian Bay dotted with nearby picturesque towns like Thornberry, Meaford, and the resort of Wasaga Beach to the east. But the City of Collingwood itself was a disappointment. The town has a nice main street with lots of unique shops but few pedestrians and restaurants were hard to find. Despite touting itself on the shore of Georgian Bay there are no restaurants/bars on the waterfront itself - a glaring omission. And we figured out why downtown might be so deserted - everyone goes to the faux village of Blue Mtn. Resort Village a few miles west!

Lots of trails and beaches.
Lots of trails and beaches. Lots of cool non-chain restaurants with a great vibe. So much to explore.
We went to Bent Taco. If you like Mexican, go here. Unique delicious menu. Great patio. Fast service.
We also went to The Huron Club. Cool spot. Good food.
We rode many of the trails. Well kept. Want to do some more. There are many trails.

Didn’t like the Living Water resort, it was very run down,...
Didn’t like the Living Water resort, it was very run down, we could have found a better place to stay for sure, it needs work badly, it was built very cheaply. It needs painting, grout in the bathrooms, the bathroom sink was plugged, air conditioner needs to be able to shut off, especially when sitting on the balconies, you can’t hear anyone talking, it’s so loud, whirlpool tub is terribly loud as well, in the washroom, I wanted to use it to relax, unfortunately because of how loud it was that wasn’t going to work.
The view on the marina was pretty, the bed and pillows were comfortable. I visited the front desk to see if I could buy a pillow, the gentleman said he would contact housekeeping and get back to me, I never heard anything.
All in all for being a time share Resort it seems very sad that once you sign up for it is extremely hard to get out of it without a great expense, after talking to a few people that want out.
I would not recommend this place, unfortunately we won’t be back.
comfy bed and pillows. sink in the room to help with food/drink preparation. fridge had a small freezer and a crisper which are both unusual these days in hotel room bar refrigerators. fluffy towels including washcloths.
breakfast basic..
many restaurants within a few hundred yards . Downtown trendy section 30 min walk.
well maintained waterfront trail 1 block away for hiking and biking.
very pretty area with rolling hills, apple orchards and lake, all nearby
Loved the resort-like vibe of the Georgian Bay Hotel! Lots of activities for everyone, including 2 outdoor pools, indoor pool, tennis, basketball, mini golf (which we didn’t use). The facilities were great and the rooms were very clean. Most importantly, the customer service was exemplary! Thank you very much, Lynda & Lynne from front desk! You guys are awesome!
I highly recommend this place, staffs are friendly andI like how clean it is. The room are very clean and beds are very comfortable and spacious. Also, breakfast is great.
I will for sure come back to this hotel if we decide to visit the area.
Also, the location is great, close to grocery, coffee shops and highway.
Large house with enough room for a large family. Everyone came and had comfortable places to sleep, watch TV, and relax. There was more than ample parking. Very spacious home and will definitely book again. Its in a more secluded location in Collingwood so you felt like you were in the cottage.
Great location! Close to Blue mountain and the Scandanave Spa. Nice quiet neighborhood.
Very nice , clean, spacious condo. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need to cook and eat in the condo. Lots of beds.
Suite was spacious comfortable and well laid out. Everything that was needed was there. Pool was heated and location of hotel was a 10 min drive to restaurants, grocery stores, blue mountain and more.
Overall the facility was clean and quiet. However, being a weekend and Blue Mountain open the price is ridiculously high. Not work the $30 difference between other hotels and this motel.
The Living Stone Golf Resort is a good hotel with some entertainment options. Parking is spacious and its location is good. Its rooms are very comfortable with perfect showers.
- 15 min drive to blue mountain village
- close by to other restaurants and shops
- very clean and comfortable rooms
- breakfast was good
- free parking on premises
Convenient location, close to downtown Collingwood & Blue Mountain village. Affordable with fantastic amenities. Quiet and comfortable. Fantastic kitchenette.
