This traditional Tunisian house is located in Tozeur city centre, on the edge of the desert and a few steps from the salt lake, Chott El Djerid. It offers a hammam and modern rooms.

Living in the home of Mr and Mrs Rabah was a treat: We were truly made to feel at home. Although we had our own space and privacy, we benefitted from the warmth and reassurance that if we needed anything, nothing would be too difficult to organise. Mr Rabah kindly organised the excursions we wanted to go on beforehand and provided extensive advice on the route's planning even taking the time to have several long conversations before our arrival. All had been arranged by the time we arrived. The breakfasts were banquets and we had long conversations about all sorts. Although we didn't have dinner, Fatima offered to cook for us. I loved Tozeur, the people, the dry climate and the local community feel. Do not look anywhere further than Dar Fatima!
Situated just 49 km from Ong Jemel, Dar Yomma provides accommodation in Tozeur with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen.

Tozeur is a great place to explore the desert (Mos Espa and Ong Jmal areas). The oasis is great for walks, medina is quite nice and relaxed, and there is Dar Cheraït museum - probably the most extravagant museum I ever visited (in particular the journey through Tunisian history).

Tozeur is a city far in the southwest of Tunisia close to the border of Algeria. It has the biggest palm forest in Tunisia where you can walk or ride a bike.
It is a must visit destination for Star war lovers because of Mos Espa, a tour worth having.
There are also two oasis as well as two flooded villages worth visiting Tamerza and Chebika.
Be careful as some tours won’t allow you to visit Tamerza.
The private tour with locals in Chebika it’s a waste of dinars 😂. Walk around Chebika on your own. It’s the same thing and you will enjoy it nonetheless.
The cascade it’s not a big deal for european travelers but as water is rare to find in places near the desert, for locals its supposed to be a super nice sightseeing. It is included in all tours so just enjoy it.
Finally I believe that two days are more than enough for Tozeur. So it’s better to book a day tour that includes all the destinations mentioned above (the oasis , Midas canyon -only for photos and Mos espa and Ong jemel) and have one day left which is more than enough too, to explore the city.

Excellent location and facilities and very pour service.
Excellent location and facilities and very pour service. The service and the availability of the items on the menue were deceiving. Most drinks were missing. Poor understanding of orders and the content. And the most appalling is that some staff didn't even bother responding to our requests and when complaint they informed us that the concerned staff will contact us which ofcourse never happened. This hotel is an amazing shell without content.

I went there for Star Wars, and got soooo much more out of the place. Our guide took us around and we saw things I never dreamed of Mother Earth or (wo)man being able to produce. It was amazing. Chebika, desert, Tameza, climbing the camel and I can continue...
In Tozeur the center is normal Tunisian buzzing without being agressive-buy-from-me.
Had some trouble finding a nice place to eat, but the food we found was high quality and the prices absolutely agreeable.

The spirit of adventure is in Tozeur.
The spirit of adventure is in Tozeur. There are many activities to fill a few days of your schedule, it is far from cities yet there is an airport to fly to from the capital Tunis or Sousse. I would recommend this place to other travellers. People are very friendly and if you ask for help, they are there to offer it. The owner of my hotel Tozeur Residence Almadina, was nice enough to prepare a packed lunch for me when I left early in the morning. Thank you for doing that!

i recommend to visit it
i will be back there again for sure but only i will change hotel
A wonderful place to stay, with two of the most welcoming and helpful hosts you will ever meet. I have stayed in many guesthouses and hotels, but rarely did I find such a gem. Fatima and Taieb are amazing people that make you feel at home from the day you arrive, or probably already before.
They know the region like their backpocket, and can give suggestions of where to go in the whole of Tunisia. Taieb helped me discover places that I would never be able to find alone. And Fatima's food is absolutely amazing.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient to the sights in Tozeur but enough off the beaten track to be quiet. Breakfast features local specialities and varied a bit each day. The hammam is well-maintained and very private (we toured it but did not have time to use it, alas) and the rooms are outfitted with everything you need. Thoughtful touches abound and the rooftop is a bonus. Highly recommended!
Clean and comfortable room with private bathroom. Nice breakfast. Helpful owners who will help you to organize activities and plans in the area and for fair prices. They also helped us with laundry, and all kinds of advice! It's a few min from the city center so you can rest (also with working AC). Totally recommended to foreigners traveling to the South of Tunisia.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff. This hotel is right across from the bus station and such a great central spot to do all the tourist attractions my friend and I had planned. Had the BEST time in tozeur and highly recommend staying here for the value.
The people made it feel like a second home. Extremely nice personell and host. If you go to Tozeur and do not stay here, you are missing out. 10/10, if I were to go back to Tunisia it would be to visit Dar Yomma. Thank you.
Hotel location in front of Bus station coming from Tunis. Traditional hotel with beautiful layout outside rooms. They helped arrange for tour in Mos Espa and others sites with a group, meaning cost is cheaper.
Amazing place in Tozeur, like a small palace with excellent aesthetic and very clean. The owner was super friendly and welcoming and the room was very comfortable. Totally recommended!
It’s a very beautiful old building. Almost like a palace. Very friendly owner and staff, very good location, room and bed were great too. Would certainly go here again when in Tozeur.
Dar Saida Beya is very centrally located in Tozeur, and still a safe haven without street noice when inside.
Staff are very friendly and will do their utmost to make it a good stay.
Very nice, clean and large pool.
Mostly helpful and serviceminded staff.
Good cleaning in the hotel room
Calm and quiet surroundings.
Nice evening and lunch buffet.
