Just a beautiful location, worth the effort to get there.
Just a beautiful location, worth the effort to get there. Did the gorge walk which was absolutely amazing and again, well worth the effort. Of course, you have to pay for everything which put us off doing some attraction (seen one castle in Europe you’ve seen them all sort of thing) but we’d definitely go again

Gorgeous lake which could be walked around in about 2 hours. Felt very safe. Friendly, helpful people in shops and restaurants.
I would definitely avoid high season as the word seems to have spread about its beauty! They are planning a new road which will hopefully help in a few years.
It’s a place we have love and returned to regularly for nearly 20 years! Beautiful in winter too.

Stunning view. Several hikes available around the lake. Good as a base for day-trips. But day-trips require a car (except for Vintgar Corge which is accessible by a convenient shuttle). Highly recommended.

Beautiful spot with plenty to occupy your time for several days. Must sees are the Bled Castle, visit to the Island and a walk around the lake. If walk is too much (around 6 km) there is electric train that will take you for the full or part of that scenic walk.
For those that enjoy walking there are numerous walks and hikes off the lake and beyond.

Lake bled exceeded our expectations.
Lake bled exceeded our expectations. We flew into Trieste airport and stayed the first night in Ljubljana which was really beautiful and we took the local bus €8 for 4 of us out to lake bled where we stayed for a further 3 nights there was so much to do and see with amazk g scenery and plenty of walking trails. We did the lap of the lake, climbed to the castle, boat trip to the Island, tour out to vintgar gorge (amazing) we also visited Bohinj Lake again €10 for 4 by bus. There are lots of other activities. If there were direct flights to Ljubljana we would all love to go back.
I can only recommend that place.
Its very good location, just ca. 10 min to lake. I really liked its not huge hotel, but give you more private feeling.
I got very big room with very comfortable bed.
Breakfast is organized pretty good and you get can scrambles eggs done based on your order and not just heat up.
Communication with House is easy and they respond on Booking.com pretty fast.
I arrived to Bled pretty early, yet i was very lucky to be able to check-in ealier. That really saved me a lot of time.
This place is just perfect! Very friendly staff, big but cosy room, the privat sauna is great and there was even a Nintendo installed, with all the good old school games. The breakfast was definitely one of the best breakfasts I ever had in hotel. The whole place is decorated with passion for the details, what makes it an interesting and very pleasant place to rest and enjoy your stay! Moreover it’s located close to the Bled and the lake. We will definitely come back and stay more than one night next time!
One of the hotels that offer a view of Lake Bled and it was worth it. The room I had was great. The bed is comfortable, the TV is of high quality and the bathroom is modern and clean. There are boat trips in front of the hotel that will take you to the island at the middle of the lake. Their restaurant is also good. Breakfast buffet was okay. There are not so many food options within the area so plan accordingly for your meals. Also take note that it is quite a walk if you go down at Bled Bus Station.
amazing staff. Our view was superb (the lovely ladies who checked us in even moved our room for us so we had a better view, since that was really important to me.) Breakfast was gorgeous. Private swimming area was amazing. I wish i could stay forever. Had the best massage in my whole life. I loved the location--it was in a quieter area of the lake. You get free boat renal as well, and parking. Once you add up the amenities, it's actually a really good value. Interesting history of the hotel as well!
Amazing lovely hotel. Right by lake bled and the best rooftop swimming pool we've ever been to. We were lucky it was mostly empty when we went so we had the pool all to ourselves. The rooms were really comfortable and we were upgraded to lake view and this was just outstanding. Excellent breakfast and also dinner so happy with half board for our family. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to any family or visitors to the area.
I liked everything. The location is so central and close to the lake and the castle to those who like to walk. Ton a side note though, the only difficulty I had is to get transportation from Lesce Bled to the hotel and back. Public transportation is available but isn't practical for a person with luggage. So I got a taxi service for 15 euros, which is a cost one needs to factor in.
Location was perfect, top of a hill overlooking Lake Bled. There's a Mercator convenience store at the bottom of the hill which is also a stop for the Tourist train and you can ride the paddle boats over to the island. The owner, Mme Antonia, was wonderful and so attentive and caring. Her late husband built the entire estate. It is a lovely "typical Slovenian Sobe" lodge.
The whole organization of the stay is on the top-notch level. Picking up the keys is quite easy, the apartment we were in - Grad - was super clean and comfortable. The heating is absolutely great. The view and a short walk to the lake Bled make everything even more enjoyable. All in all, one of the best private accommodations ever.
Beautiful spacious apartment that are recently renovated. Great facilities. Perfect communication with the hosts, they are super friendly and helpful. Great location; 5 min walk to lake Bled and 45 min drive to Ljubljana. I would definitely come back to Vila Ula La when visiting Slovenia another time.
Victoria apartments is the perfect place to come with a family even with small kids as it offers large lawns with grass and kids play area. The location is perfect, with the private parking but also very close to the Bled lake within walkable distance of the major hotels and the restaurants.
Beautiful location on Lake Bled. Quaint but we’ll maintained hotel. There is always a spot to park your car if you are staying at the hotel. The breakfast was included in the price and fairly elaborate. The attached restaurant is also nice. Overall great friendly service.
The hotel is located close to Lake Bled and has very good views. The shops and restaurants are close. It is not too old and has a nice pool. Parking was good. Staff tried to be helpful but were not able to address major issues. A reasonable breakfast was available.
The Hotel Triglav has a great location a little away from town but overlooking the island on Lake Bled. It was a nice place to relax at the end of the day and a great view to wake up to in the morning. Breakfast offered a nice variety and were well prepared.
The hotel faces lake bled directly, has a private space to sunbath and swim in the lake. The furnitures and inside are quinte vintage, very particular, a jump back back in the past 80’ - 90’. Sunset is the best, very romantic indeed.
Beautiful hotel in the best location with stunning views of Lake Bled
Room was lovely, well equiped and very comfortable bed
Generous balcony provided exceptional view overlooking the lake
Breakfast excellent, with plenty of choice and quantities good. Hotel location excellent, overlooking Lake Bled. Parking free on-site. Fridge and kettle in room was appreciated.
