There is a lot of history in Zichron Ya'akov as it was one of the first settlements way back in the 1880s, before Israel was even a state. The town center is fascinating with 2 museums, good restaurants, lots of shops and coffee houses. Several wineries nearby. Tishbi Wines have a lovely restaurant very near Cozy Cabin. The only downside to Zichron Ya'akov is parking - wow its hard to find parking. At least, on the street where Cozy Cabin is, it's usually not too big a problem. The town sits atop a high hill and the views are fantastic. Outside of the town there are many places to go and things to do. The beach is not far away, Carmel Caves are a must, Daliat el Carmel is a druze village 20 km away. Of course don't miss visiting the Antiquities at Caesarea.

Zikhroin Yaakov is a delightful, beautiful little town in Israel. Has picturesque pedestrian walk through center of town with lots of interesting stores. First Aliyah Museum is very well done, Beit Aaronsohn is very interesting as well. Nili Restaurant is highly recommended. A lovely town for a night or two.

Zikhron Yaakov is one of the oldest settlements in Israel,...
Zikhron Yaakov is one of the oldest settlements in Israel, having been founded by the end of the 19th Century.
The city was smart enough to keep the old part as preserved as possible and walking around is like walking in another continent.
There are a lot of small shops specializing in arts and food specialties.
If you are tired, you will enjoy a stroll in the beautiful memorial garden of Baron Rotschild.
By the evening you can catch a beautiful view of the sunset into the Mediterranean
Zikhron Yaakov is always a good choice to visit

Lovely, historic town with cobblestone streets, magical lights at night, many local artists, galleries, shops, outdoor cafes, and restaurants. Fascinating way to learn the history of Israel and appreciate the pioneers who who came in the 1880s. The Aliyah museum is a must see-engaging and easy for all ages and interests. Several short, educational films, photographs and artifacts bring the stories of the founders to life. Wineries are close by. We visited a beautiful park Ramat Nadiv- so glad we did! Gorgeous gardens, stunning burial place of Rothschilds, film about how this area was developed - all so interesting! Don’t miss learning about and visiting the home of The Aaronsohns!

We were a group of friends looking for a hotel that all can afford. Eden Inn is a budget hotel with very large grounds, a very nice pool and a great breakfast. The rooms are good, bathrooms are outdated but that does not bother me. everything was clean. The staff were very nice. we enjoyed sitting in the large lobby together, there are many spots in the garden for friends to sit and talk. we walked several times back and forth to the city center, about 15-20 minutes of a slow walk.
The best thing about this hotel is its territory! Everything is very green and beautiful!
The hotel is pretty stylish despite that you see that it’s not new. The breakfast was good: the food selection and the food quality itself.
Can’t complain about the service and cleanliness as well.
I like the garden with open fire in the middle of the hote.
The hotel is clean, some staff members were kind. But it's way over priced. Breakfast is simple and quite poor in quality. The price is too high for what's being offered, which the hotel is aware off - as the whole price needs to be paid at check in, otherwise they won't give the key. All in all quite a disappointment.
Breakfast and staff were beyond exceptional. If we requested something for breakfast that was not normally on the menu, it was available the next day. The location could not have been better. It had a very comfortable bed in a large room. Towels were top quality not normal thin hotel quality.
This is by far the best place to stay. Rooms are immaculately clean. The rooms are meticulously decorated with fine art pieces. Our host Ronnie provided utmost level of costumer service. Prime location in Zichron Yaakov. You wake up to the birds singing. You won't get any better than this.
The hotel is beautifully decorated and has a calming, relaxing atmosphere. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and spacious and offered a great sea view. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast was above and beyond. The hotel pool was perfect.
We stayed in the new boutique hotel that they are opening. It was beautiful and very comfortable, but unfortunately part of the building was still under construction and woke up on our first morning. It was otherwise a perfect stay.
The helpfulness and warmth of the staff; the beauty of the garden to the rear of the hotel; the readiness of the staff to change the room after the first night; the tolerance of extended to smokers.
Loved the gardens, surrounding the hotel, lots of different places to sit outdoors. Very peaceful location. Walked to Ramat HaNadiv gardens. Bus-stops close by. Staff extremely helpful.
nice breakfast and dinner, beautiful pool, great location and views from the hotel of the sea. Great free tour of the hotel in the mornings. Bed was comfortable and room was clean.
