Wonderful, patriotic, family oriented, positive energy shows. Good variety of restaurants for any budget.
Recommend: Pickin Porch has good inexpensive food and live music some afternoons. Roccos Pizza for quick meal between shows. Mel's Hard Luck Diner with convenient location and singing waiters promoting their shows.
Recommended shows; 1) Queen Ester at the Sight and Sound Theater with fantastic stage setting, technical effects and performance. 2) Clay Cooper with great variety of performers, uplifting music and technical effects. 3) Irish Tenors with Celtic Dancers with very energetic singing and dancing show. 4) George Dyer acclaimed opera performer with show ranging from opera classics to Phantom of the Opera to popular and religious songs.
Highly recommend Shepard of the Hills; went to it many years ago, but was rained out this visit.

wanted to see a show.
wanted to see a show. But- at $300 for 2 it did NOT make good sense. Dinner was also expensive, in my opinion, at $40 for 2, swahi passed off as southern fish, what, southern vietnam? Catfish was expected.
Dont think we will ever return.

Branson was fun.
Branson was fun. The production at Sight and Sound Theater was fantastic as was the Titanic Museum. We spent time at The Landing which was also nice. Our hotel was good, and the local food options were also good. We will definitely go back. Getting around in Branson is fine with GPS, but the traffic is a bit heavy. Our trip was fun and we have look forward to our next trip there.

If you don't have kids go before school is out for the summer. Minimal crowds and easy access to any thing you want to do. Since they have all the outer roads complete, it is really easy to get around town.

Branson, if you know your way around, it a nice place to...
Branson, if you know your way around, it a nice place to visit. We went to Branson Landing just to walk around, ate at Shogun's (and had a great chef there), and spent some time walking around Silver Dollar City (expensive, but we have season passes - it makes taking our grandchildren there during the summer and for Christmas a little cheaper and gets us into WhiteWater as well). However, I grew up around there, so I know many of the back roads and shortcuts around town so I don't have to deal with the traffic issues that most visitors have to deal with. If you drive the main drag it can take forever to get around. Familiarize yourself with the different routes (red, yellow, and blue) that will help you get around town easier. There are some good shows - again, it can be a bit expensive. We are planning a miniature golf trip to Branson in July with one of our granddaughters. Lots of different courses to play with some trips to the mountain coasters, WhiteWater, and Tanger Outlet Mall thrown in.
The indoor pool was one of the best hotel pools I've ever been in. The jacuzzi was standard, but that pool was incredible. We asked for towels, and the staff gave us an entire bag of towels. When you ask for a couple towels, you normally get a couple towels, and you have to plan and preserve towels throughout your stay. We received an entire bag of towels. A+++. Some of the times, the big things make a huge difference, and some of the times, it's the little things. We experienced both on this trip, and it made our vacation great!!!
Best sleep ever with pillow top beds. My husband and grandsons loved the breakfast . The food was hot and they never ran out. The boys loved the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay again. Having the kids stay free was great. Even though it is an older hotel the rooms had been renovated so all good.
This hotel has a great location, quiet and scenic, easy to navigate throughout Branson from here, and it has a delicious hot breakfast with a wide variety of food to choose from, all well cooked and well stocked. The rooms are clean and comfortable and stocked with everything you need for your stay.
We love how close the hotel is to everything but not in a high traffic area. The room was clean and a good size. The bed was super comfortable, and the continental breakfast was great!! Staff was very helpful on arrival and with anything we needed. We will be coming back next year.
The apartment had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was large. It is very close to almost anything an adult or child would want to enjoy in Branson. We had a two bedroom two bath apartment. You are able to have some privacy unlike a hotel.
Room was fine, they are completely renovating the hotel, so they had mattresses outside of rooms so could put in new carpets. Lobby had new paint. Complete update to whole hotel. Breakfast bar is always excellent with waffles, eggs, sos, sausage, orange juice, milk.
One of the best resorts i’ve stayed at! I had the premium with one king and two full beds! It’s was more than enough room for a family of 5! My three 12yo love the resort more than the activities on the strip! Most def staying again!
We loved the location its not on the strip but close to the strip and everything else. The breakfast was good egg, sausage, biscuits, gravy, muffins, cinnamon rolls and more. It was very quiet and we will be going back in November.
The Sunday breakfast buffet was great. Best I've had at any hotel in years. I liked the location of the hotel. Not terribly far from all the attractions in Branson but just far enough to have peace and quiet at the end of the day.
This hotel is in my top 5 for Branson. I have stayed here at least 4 or 5 times over the past couple years and each stay has been excellent. Location, cleanliness are two of the top features for this hotel.
Indoor and outdoor pools were a nice bonus! Hotel is older like everything in Branson but it wasn't completely run down like a lot of hotels at this price point.
