from collection at our private boat on the nearest pier to the hotel was about 5 minutes, the staff were very welcoming and couldn't do anymore to help us during our whole stay, the resort was very relaxing and chilled vibe carried on throughout the whole resort. The beachfront villa was amazing and what a view to wake up with every morning. had a scooter from the hotel for a day and had a ride around the island (which didn't take long) but found a nice little place to grab some lunch and a few beers. but mainly stayed at the resort and relaxed. breakfast was great and the omelettes were awesome. Thank you for a great time

They have the best sunrise/sunset on Koh Mak thanks to their unique location.
The room itself is very modern, with mosquito nets on the windows and doors, so you can sleep with open windows to the sound of the sea.
Comfortable bed, the receptionist lady is very helpful with a big smile.
The restaurant is nice but we mostly had breakfast here.
The AC worked great. There is no beach but we prefer visiting as many as we can anyway, so it was no problem.
There were a few bugs in the room, but it was manageble.
Located in Koh Mak, Buri Hut Natural Resort offers standalone bungalows with sweeping views of the sea from windows and glass doors.

The staff and child facilities were absolutely lovely. They made everything in their power to make the stay as comfortable and fun as possible for our children and that is priceless. There was a playing ground that our 2.5 year old son loved. The swimming pool was great. If we knew how fantastic this place was, we would have stayed longer. It

Lazy Day is a tranquil hotel in a pretty beach. We had a beach front room which has its own comfy beach loungers on the balcony so you can sit/lay in comfort overlooking the sea. The staff are so lovely and really friendly and will help you with anything. We hired a scooter to travel round the island, great fun.

Nice quiet island but very expensive compared to other places in Thailand. There's only a couple roads easy to explore the whole island in one day. Just make sure to bring a lot of bug spray the sand flies and mosquitoes eat humans all the time- thai or foreigner- best resort hands is seavana

Really nice and chill island, it's laid back and a great place for a break but you can also do activities such as snorkeling and diving. There's not loads to do but it's exactly what we were looking for, a little island paradise. Plenty of restaurants but not many bars. A day trip to Koh Kham is an absolute must! "The Ball Cafe" and "Pak Pak Vegan" are great cafés. Try "M.A. Bistro" for upmarket dinner or "Khun Mam's Kitchen" for an authentic Thai meal.

Seeking a Thai escape that strays from the clichés of overcrowded and overhyped islands? Koh Mak is an undiscovered gem waiting to be explored. This island emerges as a paradisiacal retreat where time appears to stand still, offering a perfect balance of relaxation, exploration, and reconnection with what's essential.
For three to four days, our family had the privilege of reveling in the tranquility and serenity that pervade Koh Mak. Each day brought its share of discoveries, from the whispering waves breaking on sandy shores to the verdant landscapes seemingly untouched by time or man.
Just an hour's boat ride from Koh Chang, Koh Mak stands as an invitation to all those looking to immerse themselves in an authentic and preserved Thailand. The crystal-clear waters, secluded beaches, and warm hospitality of the locals make this island a charming alternative to the more well-known Koh Kood.
In conclusion, our stay in Koh Mak was an enchanting interlude, a precious family memory where each shared moment will remain etched as an invitation to tranquility and natural beauty. For those in search of a unique experience in Thailand, Koh Mak is a stopover not to be missed.

Koh Mak , one of the few relaxed islands in Thailand, with relaxed i mean quiet, no nightlife, no disco noise, no harassment from people trying to sell you whatever.
Its the place to switch of and recover. There is plenty of relatively quiet places to find , especially in low season you can be alone at some beaches for hours.
Getting around is easy by motorcycle, the island is small and it is almost impossible to get lost. Good food is to be found in many locations, i can especially recommend Koh Mak Seafood,Sweet Cake, Table Tales and Food Art Hut.Or maybe you want to sit on a Bar on a pier a bit out in the sea? : Then check out Plue Pear Bar it is at Ao Pra Pier acessible trough Cococape Resort ( there might be an entrance fee for outside guests) Of course that is not everything there is, there is cheaper traditional places to be found as well as more expensive high end restaurants in the bigger resorts.
Snorkeling and Diving is also very nice at Koh Mak, you should be there at the right season for good visibility tough.
Miss You Beach resort is located on a wonderful part of the island. Every sunset was beautiful over the water right in front of the resort. Dylan, the owner, was very kind and always ready to help. He was inviting and responded to every need I had whilst I stayed to make my visit comfortable. He even made me a lovely Nepalese dish and brought it to my room! I really enjoyed my stay of 3 weeks. I enjoyed being in a bungalow and really felt like I had my own space to relax over my stay.
This place is so amazing, the resort is located at the end of southern cape where you can see sunrise from your bed and you can see sunset at the restaurant. It’s very clean and relaxing. The food is so tasty especially “Chicken and Cashew-nut” RECOMMENDED!!!
By the way, The resort has no beach so NO SANDFLIES!! we’re so lucky cause we are allergic with them.
You can book everything you need at the reception.
Staff is so friendly and very helpful.
We will be back for sure!!
Fantastic location! Even on a very windy day, this little bay is protected, calm and swimmable. They do a good job of keeping the beach clean right here. Beautiful spot for sunsets. Excellent breakfast buffet with both Thai and western options. Friendly staff. Nice pool. Got two lovely Thai massages for a very good price. I recommend the beach bungalows, worth a splurge to be there instead of the hotel rooms. Koh Mak is magical…
Really enjoyed our 5-day stay here and could have remained indefinitely. The pool and view is excellent, view from the rooms, very spacious, good air conditioning, warm water, able to rent a motorbike directly at the resort, and good breakfast with choices. The owner, Pepe, was present and enjoyed chatting with him. Rented a kayak down the road (at his partner’s resort) and had a great trip out to Koh Rayang.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The resort is generally quieter (not crowded or noisy). We rented a scooter from the hotel (reasonably priced) which proved to be a good idea, to cover the island and see the different beaches. As the hotel restaurant closes at about 20:30 we mostly ventured out for dinner every evening. We made use of the hotel's free standup paddle boards to enjoy a sunset paddle.
The accommodation was very nice, close to the beach, kids friendly , good breakfast (not included in the room price, pay 300 thb per person, but the day of the departure the breakfast was included), was able to rent a scooter. The reception lady, Mouy, was super helpful all the time, she booked us boat tickets to Koh Chang, they also took us to and from the pier and the massage lady did an amazing massage.
Collected from the pier by a friendly happy member of staff, provided with fresh coconut on arrival whilst checking in was taken care of. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Rooms rustic and clean. Resort green and beautiful on the loveliest beach with crystal clear waters. Food delicious too. Loved hiring golf cart too for an adventure around the island 🤩
Great location right on the beach good size rooms with kettle tea and coffee everyday. Breakfast was good and varied nice pool area and loungers on the front by the sea .We had a ground floor garden view room with a raised patio. One thing was a bonus your not isolated here as on some island resorts lots of great restaurants on the main road.
We had a wonderful stay at Little Moon - it is such a relaxing little corner of Koh Mak. The staff were wonderful and their hospitality unmatched. The food and coffee were delicious and the room was exceptional - so beautifully designed. A perfect place to switch off when you need to get away from busy lives!
The staff is exceptional, the villas are right on the beach and Mak is just fantastic :) The on-site restaurant is one of the best on the island. Oh and the mattress!!! It is exceptionally good, which is a HUGE plus here in Thailand! Not too soft, not to hard, and almost no motion transfer. Loved it!
It’s a beautiful hotel with the best view on the island. It is peaceful and relaxing. The restaurant and pool view is so beautiful.
The breakfast is very good. They also make traditional Thai food for lunch and evening meals.
The staff are so friendly and helpful.
Very nice place ! View from the room is stunning with amazing sunset ! The owner is very friendly and give some really good advice. We love all this beautiful family ! Little paradise in one the most beautiful island I have ever see ❤️ 5 stars all good thanks
The location was very good, surrounded by great restaurants and accessible to the whole island.
Rooms were large and the hotel was well finished.
The cafe had decent food and staff were extremely helpful.
Price is fantastic
Perfect location for Koh Mak. Clean, good AC, but the best thing was Natida the host. She was the nicest person you could imagine. She took us to watch the sunset every night, ate with me and even bought beers!
Great location, great hotel, very large rooms with lots of extras, all villas are Seaview, good food, free use of kayaks.
Great snorkeling at koh kham and around koh mak
