We love the interaction with our host Joseph, the homemade breakfast, mineral water dispenser available at every level, the design of the place... It truly was a lovely stay, feels like we were staying at a friend's place. They take care to keep the mosquitoes out and I really appreciate that. The location is perfect for exploring main areas of Fort Kochi as it was all with walkable distances, if not, a Tuktuk was easily available through Über. Take not that the Über drivers here prefer to be paid in cash. The room was spacious enough for us as a couple and it was relatively quiet. There were the occasional sounds of the cars and scooters driving by but since it is a narrow street, the traffic is not much. It is not a 5 star hotel like Crowne Plaza but we truly prefer this over that. Honestly, go for this, we experienced really bad interaction and service with said 5-star hotel and this Fort Bungalow saved our trip and improved our impression of Kerala. Tip: Strongly recommended to text with the Host to ask if there are rooms available first😉.
