The homey feeling of the whole area. You feel like you walked into your private backyard at your villa. The breakfast was good, fresh fruit and all the basics one needs, the pool area is small but very nice and zen. It was usually also very quiet during the day so one had almost exclusive use of the pool. Ideal place to relax. Staff was very polite and professional and try cleaning done to a high standard. Shower was great too with high pressure and hot water.

Lovely pool area. Breakfast was very good and lots of choice. Cleaning and breakfast staff do a great job as the place is very very clean. Reception staff were very helpful, had a lot of patience and used google translate for us. Two streets to the beach and loads of restaurants nearby. we loved this place.

The staff was very friendly and polite, the bedrooms were comfortable, and breakfast included several options. The free coffe and tea were amazing.

Questions are answered clearly in 3 languages. I'm planning to go back there again every August I have left❣️

We loved our stay, firstly the staff are treasures, especially Janaina who is so kind, thoughtful and a pleasure to meet. I have been amazed at the good people we have met in our travels through Argentina and Brazil. The breakfast every morning would put most 5 star hotels too shame! Villa Lulu is a beautifully and colourfully decorated & designed guest house with all you need in amenities - coming home after a day on the beach it was an oasis to have a swim and a beer from the fridge (works on honesty system) It is close to Geriba beach (surfing and wide open beach) literally 3 minute walk, down a quiet cobbled road - we loved it being away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristic areas that are not our style - we did get Ubers to explore some of the other beaches which was easy and hassle free. I really recommend Villa Lulu if you are inclined to our way of thinking

Handy for refills! Also LGBT friendly.
