The hotel from the first welcome at the door was just perfect for our anniversary stay. Loved our room and the bar overlooking the sunset over the city. Loved the locally/Australian sourced products too.

It’s very built up around the hotel so the view is limited at best.

Honestly, nothing - Not staying longer than the 4 nights

We adored Next Hotel - I did a lot of research and review reading prior to our trip to Melbourne. We were choosing between Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt, QT and Next Hotel. After walking around Melbourne and viewing the hotels along the way, we adored our location and had no regrets with our selection. Great coffee shops and bakeries within 10 minutes walk, restaurants and bars within 5 minutes. The facilities were fantastic, beautiful rooms, bathrooms with luxurious finishings and a great shower with lots of pressure. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the pillow selection was a nice touch. The windows had complete black out blinds that honestly felt like we were in some kind of time vortex not knowing if it was 2am or 7am when we woke up, and it was amazing.

The property initially charged us more than the booking.com price however this was very quickly resolved by reception staff.

Room is lovely and clean, AC/heating worked very well, bathroom spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. The location is amazing, walking distance to everything! Loved that the room had a Dyson hairdryer. Will definitely be back when we are in Melbourne next.

Unfortunately, we found one of the male staff members in the Club dining area to be unfriendly, bordering on hostile. All other staff were super helpful and courteous though.

Great breakfast along with complimentary evening drinks and snacks for Club guests. Perfect central location in Melbourne's CBD, where you can walk everywhere. A new hotel with stylish decor and well-appointed rooms.

The window view faced towards two office buildings so we needed to draw the blinds for more privacy.

The hotel is walking distance to Regent and Her Majesty's Theater. Valet parking is convenient. The hotel was surprisingly quiet given its central location.

Housekeeping was missed the first day, despite having left the room by 10am and returned around 4pm with the attendance light on and room unattended to. After letting front desk know, the team were super accommodating to prioritize housekeeping the following day. We really appreciated that. Thank you I found the fact there was an adjoining room to be quite noisy. I could hear the guests next door and felt as though the sounds of their shower and bathroom echoed into our room at times.

Location was nice and close to chinatown & shopping mall. Concierge were friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean & room looked exactly like the photo. The blackout blinds were an amazing touch as it is rare to find a place that looks like 3am at 9am. I hope this place stays this way, will definitely stay again on the next baby moon.
