The main issue I had was the stuffiness. The musty odour was extremely noticeable in room 110!! It is due to poor ventilation - yet I could not open the windows any further than the locked position (which opened a mere ~15cm gap). With 12 people in the room this was hardly enough, I felt like I could smell the guests staying here 10 years ago while sweating in my sleep in some nights. I would imagine a wider window opening or daily window opening time with some kind of fan would improve the smell greatly. The room is also a bit crowded, in my room the bunk beds have 3 levels. I stayed on the top bunk, so there are 2 people below me and I can feel them tossing and turning, and you have to be really careful walking down the tall stairs especially in the dark. Tolerable though, compared to the smell.

The location is good for the price, just a quick walk to the tube. Enjoyed breakfast too. The curtains are certainly a big plus. There are laundry facilities with washing and drying machines which was quite handy for people on longer trips. The female bathrooms and toilets are clean.

I would like to recommend the staff to put more shelves in the bathrooms for people to put their stuff while taking a bath and brushing their teeth. I can say that it was the only thing I missed in my stay.

I really liked the location, the staff, the breakfast, the filter for drinking water, and the facilities in general.

The wi-fi doesn't work well in the rooms and the beds were not always comfortable due to them being loose sometimes.

The property was well and good, especially the location and the accessibility. Overall, the stay was worth the amount paid.

Staff were brilliant, very friendly, very accomidating, great all round. Rooms were very quiet and people respected privacy. Two dudes on reception, night worker Brazilian dude and black dude on days, they were just excellent, went above and beyond to make sure I was all good. Massively appreciated guys.

Some of the other guests seemed to not appreciate this spledid facility and because it operates primarily as a hostel that might be expected. But otherwise, the stay, staff, and spot were "spot on".

Good location, great staff, better than "advertised". I selected a bunk, so I got the bed I asked for but the linens/coverings/pillow were excellent. The staff were superb and the facility is a classic. Because I was only needing a short stay with free parking, this was perfect.

This is my go to in London, clean, good value and great breakfast. The common areas is also good, and the bed is really nice with a socket near the bed, another important factor for me is privacy, and they provide that with a curtain on the bed.

The bed were moving when someone under moved. Someone under me was masturbating on another was eating Indian food which smelled hard. I could not sleep well in those 5 nights. The staff should fix the bet into the wall so it doesn't move. It needs to be fixed

A bit more signage inside would have been helpful. Loud creaky / clanging doors would be an easy fix and make a big difference. Bunk bed ladder was difficult/dangerous to climb for both children and adults due to its position. Also no step free access at the front.

Close to the tube, great characterful property with decent facilities and seems to attract a good mix of well behaved travellers :)

Unfortunately the music was bothering from the bar, very loud, right under our room. The bed feels small when people are coming and going and snoring. Personally I did not like that my personal space was every day surrounded by male customers they could pay attention to that when beds are given. My bed options were not ready when I signed in so the first impression lacked charm.

Have been here many times. The living room is exceptional. Good breakfast available and some tea. There is a lamp and privacy due curtains in your bed. The area is relatively secure and quiet
