Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomOf course personal preference but the pillows were slightly flat. Taxis were possible but slightly pricey to get into the centre so would recommend pre-booing or driving.
I love all the cute details, and theme throughout. the property was homely and very welcoming! The host was super friendly and responsive.

Bee happy, made me happy as soon as I walked in. The room was beautiful with bees everywhere. It is a lovely place to stay. Donna was lovely. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it. The facilities were as described. I used most of them. A lovely touch and unexpected were the chocolates. I enjoyed them. The outside seating area is lovely and comfortable. Bathroom was big with good shower, towels were so soft. I would recommend this to anyone, and will definitely be booking again. The cleaner had left out some Bee trinkets and keyrings which my grandchildren loved. The money was for charity so happy to donate.

United KingdomThe room was a bit narrow so was a bit of a dance to get into the bed, but that's a really minor thing to be honest. We never met the owner in person, which may suit some people, but we like to chat to our hosts and get local tips in person. The owner did keep in touch via messages however to ensure everything was OK throughout the stay.
The place was in a nice quiet hamlet, location was great for all the day trips we planned throughout our stay. The owners have really embraced the "bee happy" theme and it was very sweet. The room was clean and had everything we needed including towels, bedding, fridge, microwave and coffee facilities. There was a nice courtyard outside to use as well and a parking space out front of the cottage. The owner kept in contact via messaging, to check everything was okay with the room and even to advise of some rainy day activities.

There was no breakfast available, however I knew this upon booking as I’ve stayed at this lovely property before & I shall probably book again in the near future.
