How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

You have to be aware just how small the rooms are! No drinking water in the tap or kettle in the room. Free bottles of water, tea and coffee from reception.
Very close to ABBA Arena and DLR station.

The location was fantastic as we were in London for abba voyage which is just next door. The disco after the show was great fun! It all went quiet just after 11pm for us to get a good night's rest.

A bit small and the water system made some strange sounds.
Cheap and close proximity to the ABBA arena. Nice bar area for drinks after the show.

I missed breakfast and I asked if they had anything I could have. As I needed to take a tablet. I bought a pastry for £3. A bit pricey.
The bed is comfortable and cosy. Clean rooms. The staff friendly, very helpful and welcoming. The music is so loud in the lobby, it isn't very relaxing. Not ideal for doing work or taking a phone call.

All the social areas were kept really clean except for area beside reception where boxes from bar were kept whole time we were there! Also cigarette ends/ash were never removed from two covered uprights between reception and bedroom corridor!
Room although small was spotlessly clean, bed comfortable !

The only thing I would say is the size if you are clostraphobic wouldnt suit you. I am a bit but we kept door open. If its only somewhere to lay your heaf ideal. Wouldnt stay here for more than a night because of the size.
Ideal for visiting the ABBA arena. Very clean room.

Accessible room didn't have a proper ramp at door but a wood block which was too steep for wheelchair. And other Accessible room had no ramp at all so could not access with wheelchair. Would of liked a kettle and tea and coffee facility in room..
Staff very friendly and helpful. And very happy , giving a nice atmosphere. Very clean.

The EVAC water system, when showering, using hand basin & especially when using toilet very noisy, and the same if someone next door uses any of their facilities The room is a Box only standing space for two small people, I know it’s in the name but does need to be slightly bigger, but OK for 1 night definitely wouldn’t be able to do 2 nights Breakfast for what is served is too much money too, also only supply 2 small cans of water in Box & none were available other than what was supplied, plus there is no drinking water in Box other than the 2 small cans!!

Very little space to move! Although this was expected, travelling with someone other than your partner, in my case my adult son who slept on the 'bunk' bed, it was difficult to manouvre around the room. I wonder if you could have an option to have a bigger room.
Friendliness of staff, convenient fun location. Bar too!

The sheet on the bed had long black hairs on it so obviously hadn't been changed from previous guest....I slept on top of the other sheet provided.
The location was excellent, literally right across from the Abba Voyage Arena, perfect as I was travelling alone and didn't want to be walking around myself. They had an after party so you could come from the concert and enjoy an extended part atmosphere. It is also situated beside the DLR station, absolutely perfect location....and one stop away from the Westfield Shopping Centre.

I found the mattress to be rather hard and had a difficult nights sleep due to aches and pains which required regular turning to ease the discomfort. In some circumstances the unit would vibrate as people walked past, I believe on the upper level. The toilet and shower/sink waste pump fires up intermittently during the night. The toilet flush is temperamental. Parked vehicles outside the units although convenient, do disturb the internals of the units adjacent. I had a large van outside my door and they were running their engine for some time before driving away, that was at 7am. I didn't need to be awake until 8:30.
I didn't have a breakfast.
