Like most people have mentioned- the stairs. I was given a room on the 4th floor. I didn’t really mind the fact that there were stairs, but they were just super narrow… But I got great views :)

Very good location- very close to Paddington station and Notting Hill, as well as the Kensington Palace gardens. I felt safe in the neighboring area. The best part about Vancouver Studios for me was the kitchenette. The fact that you can choose to cook for yourself is super handy, cause sometimes you might not want to eat out. Having a mini fridge meant I could always have cold drinks whenever, and store any leftovers.

The place is superb, hidden gem right in the city center close to Hyde park! The room was spotless, the size of the room bigger than in average double rooms, kitchen corner-everything you need, beds super comfy, shower-good pressure/enough space. The place has its own garden fully arranged to have a morning coffee or afternoon snack/drink. The reception staff-absolutely wonderful, both guys from Italy and lady from Latvia(my home country). Definitely place to rent again!

The chairs at the dining table, although pretty, are not practical. It’s not comfortable to sit at the table unless you are extremely tall. Not an issue really but something I noticed.

Very quiet. The room was just what I needed. Comfortable and convenient with a nice window to let in air and light. The shower is good. Short walk to tube. Sainsbury’s and Waitrose close by. Loved having a small kitchenette.

our room was in the cellar with a light well to the pedestrian way and the road -> a bit noisy in the evening and a very dim light in the room during the day. there was quite a little storage space in the room for 4 persons. the reviews say this hotel offers a very good value for money, I'm not so sure since we paid a quite high amount for what we got. On the other side London is so expensive. Maybe we should have booked directly at the hotel website...

the hotel is easy to find, little kitchen is an advantage, location very close to a tube station

The rooms seem a bit outdated. But very clean. We had to switch rooms b/c the original room had a very lumpy mattress/bed. This room was on the first floor. They need to change it out. We switched rooms and the other bed was much newer.

The hospitality agents were extremely polite, and helpful and attentive to all needs.

My room was located on the 3rd floor and the straicase from 2nd to 3rd floor was too tight, with short stair width and tall stair steps, which made going up the stairs uncomfortable, especially when carrying a (small) suitcae. Also, the shower and rest of toilet facilities were disjointed, which was unusual - still funtional.

Easy to find the hotel and in a central location only a short walk from 2 tube stations. Very comfortable bed (pleasantly surprised with that), generally a functional room with a good decor.

Signs of wear and tear and it could have been cleaner. Especially the bathroom, towels were still wet/damp and the toilet was not clean it had the last guests stains. Wasn't clear that the apartment was a few streets away from the actual hotel when booking through booking.com.

Good location, spacious room, comfortable bed and good kitchen and lounge.

Only thing that could be improved in this excellent property all around is the Wifi. If I had been traveling for leisure it would not have bothered me but since I was there on a work trip it was a little inconvenient as it had dropping during a couple of online calls I did.

It is one of my favourite spots to stay in London - leafy and wonderful.

The twin room was very small. I would have preferred space for luggage and clothing to the kitchenette.

Great and friendly place in a perfect location from which to explore the city

As this is an old townhouse with steep staircases it may be a bit of a challenge to take the suitcases up, but that didn't really bother us. If you cannot walk the stairs that well, you might want to stay on a lower level. The bathroom is quite small but everything we needed was there, so this wasn't a problem.

Great place in a perfect location, close to shops, restaurants and tube/bus stations, quiet in rooms at the back side, lovely small garden to relax, pretty and tasteful furniture in the common rooms, small well equipped kitchen with large fridge, microwave, kettle, free supply of tea/coffee/milk inside the bedroom, friendly and helpful staff at the reception, "celebrations" sweets for free at the entrance. Two lights were broken in our room - after we told reception the bulbs were exchanged the very same day. We were fortunate to get an upgrade from our twin room to a room with a 140 cm bed plus an extra bed, which gave us a bit more space. The area is busy at night and shopping is possible until 11-12pm on Queensway, which seems to be a safe area, even late at night. We have stayed in London a couple of times but this was the best so far.

Nice stay at a charming hotel with a few glitches

I didn’t know until I checked in that my room was on the top floor (4th) with no lift or luggage assistance and 5+ sets of stairs that were very steep and precarious. In future, it would be good to warn guests in advance as they could have mobility issues (my fitness isn’t great so found it challenging). One of the front desk staff was a bit curt (older woman with shoulder length grey/blonde hair. She seemed horrified at me asking for assistance with my luggage until she realized I wasn’t checking out until the next day when someone else could assist me. Another time she gave me the wrong room key so had to go all the way back down to get the right key and then all the way back up the steep stairs to my room. She didn’t seem apologetic at all for the error. The rest of the staff were great but my interactions with her were not positive unfortunately. Breakfast was a bit sparse but for the price it was reasonable.

Great location. Charming decor. Refurbished room. Night front desk staff (man) was so lovely and friendly.

As a 195cm tall person travelling with a partner, the bed wasn't a large double just a normal double so it was a bit cramped for the 2 of us, however, the mattress was quite soft and comfortable. Would be great if some instructions were left in the Apartment on how to use the stovetop and oven (luckily we found the manuals with a quick Google search)

The Apartment is a short 10-minute walk from Vancouver Apartments' main reception. The apartment is in a great location in Notting Hill located directly above a cafe. It is fully equipped with all the utensils needed for an extended stay such as a microwave, oven, stovetop, coffee maker and washer/dryer. There is easy access from the Apartment to the Notting Hill Gate station (London Underground) to all London attractions Had some minor issues in the early days of our stay but the Manager was quick to respond and iron these out for us Overall a great place to stay
