I never met anyone at the reception, which felt a bit odd. I realise that this is a self-service hotel, but supposedly the reception is open in the mornings till early afternoon, and I had to rely to the kindness of the cleaning lady and the lovely lady preparing breakfast. The neighborhood did not feel safe and the arrangements of the building (coming in and out) were a bit off. The breakfast was not to my liking nor enjoyable - everything was just put together, no effort or anything accommodating.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and amicable. Nice ambience of an old building.

I had booked a superior room. The room I got did not look like on the Booking pictures. The floor was damaged, there was no working space in the room. The room is not soundproof at all as announced. The pictures of this hotel posted on Booking do not reflect at all the reality of this hotel.

I didn't like the sink in the room outside of the bathroom, every time I need to use it I splashed some water on the floor.

The breakfast was delicious, the bed was so comfortable that I could stay the whole day on it.

there is not always a service person at the reception and you have to manage on your own. It's hard at first but you get used to it. The internet is weak.

The place is very inviting, cozy, clean. Everything is almost new. The breakfast is rich and varied, and delicious. The staff is very welcoming.Very accessible to public transport

Room was a little small but for one it was perfect. Outside was a bit noisy in the morning but I think there is not much the hotel can do about that!

The room was very noisy.. we were offered a different room but had to pay extra cost. It was much better indeed, but we ended up paying much more than we'd planned.

The hotel is located in a beautiful building, recently renovated and very nicely designed. Breakfast was nice, with different options. Location is ok, right near public transportation however not very near to the city center. It is a nice neighborhood, near a square with very good restaurants and bars. The staff were nice and made efforts to make us satisfied.

Some of the rooms in the 1st floor have on their entrance door opaque glass. That allows strong light from the corridor which is one day and night to enter the room. There are also no blinds on the curtains.

The location primarily. The hotel was very presentable, but was located in a run down area which was continually noisy with traffic. It is sad to see the degree of graffiti (throughout Athens generally). On a detail note, the bed linen was to small for the mattress.

The breakfast has no variety. We stayed for six days to see the same basic breakfast daily. The AC is centrally controlled and set at 22 degrees – freezing at night. The front desk person appeared twice, so we could ask to raise the air conditioner temperature only on the fourth day of our stay. There are no parking options. If you arrive at night hours, you must patrol the highly narrow streets to find a parking spot. Consider yourself lucky if you spend less than 15 minutes doing that.

It's a good location for Athens. All floors have a side entrance with stairs and a main entrance with the elevator. Facilities are almost new. The beds are comfy. A few minutes walk from Platia Agiou Georgiou with good restaurants and bars.

On our last day of our stay, when we returned late at night, there was a man at the front desk who we did not see previously. He questioned us about the room number, proceeded to tell us that we have been upgraded to a better room as a gift (which we were not informed about when we arrived and it was not our request), and then made us wait for him to “check if you have paid for everything”. He said there may have been some taxes/other things not paid for. The property charged us before we have arrived (two weeks before), for the full amount including all taxes. We told him this but he still insisted to check before we could go upstairs to our room. Then he said everything is ok, and we informed him that we will be leaving early in the morning, at 5am to catch our plane. When we wanted to leave in the morning (basically 4 hours after he run a full check on our payments), he said he wanted to check again if all payments were made, because I quote “his memory is not that good”. We were in a hurry and we reminded him we already did that the prior evening but still inssisted and we could not leave before he made the second check. This has never happened before to us and we will for sure not return here.

Good location for Athens, many bus stations near the accommodation. It was clean, and breakfast was ok as well. The lady who was in charge of breakfast was very nice.

The air conditioning was centrally controlled, so you could power it on or off, no choice for the temperature (22°C so it was a bit cold for us). Bathroom furniture was in a bit of a "maintenance" state, the shower door was not closing properly, the sink had hot water closed and there was a bit of smell coming in from the pipes(nothing terrible, just a little inconvenient) We booked a queen-size double bed, but there were two large single beds pushed together.

Easy 24h check-in and access for the hotel, all floors have a side entrance with stairs that's very convenient, also there is a main entrance with the elevator. Facilities are almost new and the room was pretty big compared to others we checked before booking, also very clean, staff very helpful and professional. Continental Breakfast (Greek oriented) is plentiful with fresh food everyday. The hotel is located near many public transport points, you can reach almost anyplace within 10 minutes walking. Within 1 minute by foot there is a really cool roundabout called Platia Agiou Georgiou with many typical restaurants and bars.
