There was no internet in the room because it was so far from the main building. They need to install a booster.

The hotel is located at the foothill of the Etna. Perfect location if your are planning activities around Mount Etna. The hotel is a complex building with a lot of facilities. Great view to the valley below. The breakfast was sumptuos and if the buffet was not enough you could order what you needed.

The rooms on the 3rd floor are very small. You hit your head to the ceiling. Those weren’t mean to be real rooms but some technical spaces. The spa was dirty in some spaces like the hammam, too many people, impolite and speaking very loud. No courtesy rules for the spa, unfortunately.

The location is very nice. Surroundings too. The breakfast was good and the waitress was nice.

The reception staff were really far from 5* they had horrible attitude and made us feel very awkward luckily we only dealt with them for check in. Also the temperature of the internal heating was a little high and no individual control

WiFi and TV intermittent. The air-con in the room did not work, heating the room rather than cooling it.

The spa was thoughtfully designed and the room terrace had incredible views of the mountain and valleys.

wellness was included, but not the towels and the hair caps (which was mandatory) reception was open 24h but we couldn't pay our bill at 11 pm cause the system was already closed.

The king size bed is definitely smaller than 180*200. It was very important for me to have a large bed as my 3 kids used to sleep with me. At the end I asked for a baby crib for the smallest daughter, but anyway it was uncomfortable to sleep with my two other kids as a bed was too small..

Very nice hotel with a great Spa! Breakfast was good, I would only recommend to add more fruits or maybe a Macedonia (fruit salad).

The sound insulation was lacking, I could hear a lot of noise from the room above and from the corridor, but fortunately this didn't go on too late into the night. Also the fan was very weak so the room got a bit too warm in the night.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and the view from the balcony was unmatched. Also the restaurant offered fresh, varied and high quality meals everyday so I didn't feel the need to go elsewhere for dinner. The location was perfect for making trips up Mount Etna.

The one issue was the limited opening hours of the wellness section ie 10am to 1pm and 3pm to 7.30pm. I would love to see the wellness area open from 7.30 in the morning as I love an early swim.
