The hotel was very nice and clean. We had everything that we needed. When we picked up our luggage they offered to call us a taxi which helped us a lot.

Quiet room on the inner courtyard, comfy bed, beautiful art work in the halls and on the staircases, nice buffet breakfast with everything you could want - and more! Great location, short walking distance from both the train station and the Piazza Maggiore. Would consider staying here again.

Breakfast was not a good experience. While the hotel no doubt provided a good spread of food, sufficient cutlery, tinware and plates at the beginning of the breakfast period, there were not enough staff to keep the tables cleared and relaid; food replenished and cutlery, tinware and plates replaced. Staff seemed to be surprised if, as I did, to ask for a tea pot, a milk jug, honey container teaspoons, breakfast tea.

The hotel was well located. The reception staff welcoming, friendly and gave advice. The bar staff very competent and good mixer. The bedroom cleaners managed their schedule without interrupting us and the rooms were clean.

I somehow accidentally booked a 'nonrefundable' stay, which I didn't even know was possible in hotels. So they were extremely unwilling to make any modifications to my reservation whatsoever. Also the minibar is pressure sensitive? So I had some worries (because I put my own stuff in the fridge) that I would be charged for taking the minibar items, which were extremely expensive. Also since the hotel hasn't been modernized in decades, there are some black and brown stains on the fabric walls. The carpet was pulling and fraying. Not a big deal for me, and I'd rather have a hotel with a little personality than a beige hellscape. I'll deffo return.

The breakfast was incredible. The hotel hasn't been renovated in decades which gives it a very retro feel. The walls were not covered in wallpaper but fabric! I've never seen that before. It was a delightful experience and the staff were very friendly.

A little thing - the effect was cheapened by having a paper cup with the kettle. It affects the taste of drinks.

Breakfast was lovely. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. Nice to have a kettle in my room. The hotel was 15 minutes by foot from the station and less than ten minutes to the Piazza Maggiore.

The room was perfect, and so was my daughter's room. The hotel very kindly us a free upgrade to a superior room without us even asking. The rooms are cosy and comfortable, with Sky TV, we had such a wonderful stay. The hotel is situated in a perfect location, a short walk from both the station, restaurants and local sites. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. The staff were truly lovely and helpful throughout our stay too.

Told we have breakfast included when we didn't caused us a little issue in the morning. Aircon either didn't work or was so weak the room was very warm at night.

The bedroom portion of the room is still old, carpeted and with poor curtains. The elevators are slow and small. The breakfast room is too small for the amount of guests.

Good location (walking distance to many of the main museums and tourist attractions), polite staff, comfortable room with decent wi-fi and a great bathroom, completely renewed and with good shower pressure. Many good restaurant options nearby.

The room was spacious and well equipped. It is an easy 10 min walk to the centre of the city. The breakfast is comprehensive, fresh and enjoyable.

The hair dryer was not working if set on high. It would turn off after a minute running and then I had to wait 6-8 minutes for it to turn back on again. On low heat it was fine, except in order to dry my hair it needed to be set on high. For such a nice hotel, offering old style hair dryer was a surprisingly strange.
