Dublin is a great city for sights and culture. Plenty of eateries and pubs with entertainment. There are always events on (we were there to see Eric Clapton) which are remarkably well organised. We ate at Rockets on the shores of the Liffey and it was just the typical American Diner experience. Dublin has a lot to offer. Tours that are fantastic like Trinity College and the library a must, Kilmainham Gaol, the museum of modern art. Day guided trips to other parts of Ireland are easy to book. The Cliffs of Moher, the Causeway and Belfast. Love the Irish people, they are great story tellers, and lovers of art and music. Pauli’s is a great ecclectic Italian restaurant that’s much more than pizza nearby as is the cute breakfast spot a few minutes by foot. Visit the Brazen Head, touted as Ireland’s oldest pub. It’s not walkable but it has lots of atmosphere.
