Personal, quick and kindest attention, including with our special needs, justifies the five stars on its own. Right by the water, most of the hotel facilities have amazing sea views - great for us sea lovers. Fitness room was well-equipped, with natural light, great after jogging by the beach promenade. Lobby facing the water was fun to sit in for a drink in the hot hours. Breakfast room is unique - food and location.
Felt like we were in a sea resort at times, right in the middle of bustling Tel Aviv.

Room very comfortable, if somewhat small. Decor pleasant and soothing. Loved sitting upstairs on terrace overlooking sea.
Breakfast was superb. The lounge/dining room is designed in refined tasteful manner, allowing privacy, which also contributed to the relaxing experience.
Location is great. Beach just across the way; shopping opportunities quite close, and choices of dining.

Location is good, easy to arrive to the hotel in public transportation. It is a small boutique hotel. Not too fancy but it is okay. Close to restaurants and bars.
I don't mind small rooms so if it is an issue for you, then take notice.
For the price of the room I expected more, but thankfully I paid less using my Genius discount.

Tel Aviv is an interesting city in the diversity of its habitat and its population. There is a good choice of museums there. The beaches are superb. It is easy to get around by bus or metro. We made the round trip to Jerusalem easily and quickly by train.

I can't answer because I live in Israel and went because I had an early appointment and didn't want to have to get up so early as to be sure to arrive on time. I wanted to be relaxed.
I did find the average person to be pleasant, friendly and helpful which was nice for a big city. The beach is fabulous and accessible. If you want to combine culture and a resort feeling, TA is a good place. You won't find Ancient Israel here but it had what every major city anywhere does. It's one of the most expensive cities in the World, so be prepared.

We came not only to help the country at such a difficult time, but also to reconnect with family and friends. Tel Aviv is a vibrant, bustling city...if you've never been you'll notice that Israelis are loud and somewhat impatient. There's more car horns honked here than anywhere else. The bus system is terrific and it's easy to get around, either by bus or train. There are some wonderful museums here, particularly the ANU Museum at Tel Aviv University in Ramat Aviv. The Carmel Market and Nahalat Binyamina are great outdoor markets. Most things are within walking distance of the hotel, and if not, then a short bus ride. The train station that takes you to Jerusalem is within walking distance as well and the train ride is less than an hour. If you're a beach person, the entire coastline is beaches with a boardwalk and a carousel. And the food in restaurants is terrific! We didn't have a bad meal while here. And the bakeries are to die for. Israelis are so grateful for the support they receive from tourists and we made many friends along the way, from shop keepers to hotel staff. A very worthwhile trip!
This is my kind of hotel. Good sized rooms, super comfortable bed, furnished nicely with some quirky accessories throughout the hotel.
Location is perfect being close to the beach, Carmel Market and some of the best areas of Tel Aviv.
There is no breakfast in the hotel, but plenty of great places nearby so not a problem and there is a tea/coffee station open 24 hours.
Love the jacuzzi on the roof, great to relax in after a hard day being a tourist.
Staff are also friendly and helpful, this is one of my favourite hotels.
Arrived at 215am at Ben Gurion airport, passed immigration and transferred to Brown Golden House. Warmly welcomed by Ilya around 4am. He carried my suitcase upstairs and was very courteous. The room was excellent and everything perfect. In the morning, Mosha greeted me with a bright smile and kind words and recommended a restaurant nearby. I could leave my suitcase at the hotel over lunch. Overall a wonderful first night in Tel Aviv! Thank you all of you at Hotel Golden House!
This is a nice boutique hotel, centrally located, 2 minutes walk to a very nice beach. The hotel has a roof terrace with a great view of the main street and the beach. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Our room was a bit too small, but clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent. Complimentary happy hour. The hotel arranged for airport shuttle during Rosh Hashanah. :)

Fantastic hotel with extraordinary location in Tel Aviv, where you could be in the entrance of Jaffa with very nice restaurants and sunset and at the same time close to the beaches in Tel Aviv
The rooms are quite comfortable with a fantastic view over the sea (the pool location is amazing)
Huge variety breakfast with a very attentive and supportive staff (which is not so normal in Israel)
Free wifi everywhere
Everything. This was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. The breakfast was fantastic, the room was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Most of all, the location in central Tel Aviv just a short walk from the beach and near restaurants and shops was excellent. In addition, the hotel provided free wine and snacks every evening except for Shabbat
We came for one night in Tel Aviv, the host was so nice and welcoming. We were celebrating a bachelorette's party and he gave us a complementary breakfast and a bottle of kava!
The hotel has a rooftop with a jacuzzi which was super nice. Also, the location is great, right near the beach, many restaurants, bars and 20 mins walk from the Carmel market.
Definitely one of the best locations to stay in Tel Aviv! The room number 01 was great - spacious, quiet, with air conditioning and a private kitchen. We rented the bicycles from the hotel twice and it was the best decision ever - to get to the beach and ride around the city, considering that there are bike lanes everywhere.
Although the precise location of this hotel & hostel can be difficult to find for those not familiar, it’s a perfect launching pad for the wealth of activities in Tel Aviv’s center. The beach and promenade is a 2 minute walk, and there are dozens of cafes, restaurants and museums within a 20 minute bus ride.
The hotel is located in the old part of Tel Aviv called Old Jaffa, where you can feel the great atmosphere of the old city. It is close to the public transport and in walking distance to the sea and the beach.
A very nice breakfast served at the roof tarrace.
The hotel's staff is very helpful and responsive.
Very friendly staff. The shower in my room was broken and they offered me a new room immediately.
The price is very fair and the location is in the business district 10 - 15 min away from the beach if you take a scooter.
It's my favorite hotel now in Tel Aviv and I will book it again.
I loved the location of the hotel, 1 min from bus station ,right near the beach, very central you can reach by foot to all relevant touristic spots from Tel Aviv. The hotel staff was great, they gave us a fresh renovated room and it seems that the hotel is being renovated overall.
The property is in a great location near the beach and good restaurants walking distance away. Though the hotel was quite full they managed to keep the breakfast buffet full with a good assortment of tasty food. The room was clean.
Hotel guest relations are trying thier best to make the stay enjoyable. If you need to be near Tel Aviv but don't want to get stuck in the city center traffic or the beach front pricy hotels this can be an alternative.
Great location in the centre of Tel Aviv and right next to the beach. The staff were all nice and helpful and the hotel was a perfect boutique-style stylish place to stay. Would definitely go back and recommend!
This was just right for the evening that I need. This is a nice boutique hotel. Cozy and convenient. I like that it was just off the beach where a lot of night life and Tel Aviv vibe is happening.
Small and cosy hotel in the hustle and bustle of the Tel Aviv waterfront, facing a park and very close to the beach and the small touches like free wine and happy hour, gift upon departure etc
Loved the decor and ambience of hotel - has the feel of a 1930’s salon. Fabulously situated for the beach and new port area of Tel Aviv. Lovely and helpful staff. Great breakfast too.
