The staff were really friendly and made things really easy by picking us up on arrival in Levanto and again after dinner out. The room was lovely and the bar was well stocked with more food options than we expected. But the highlight by far is the pool and the setting, I can't imagine a nicer place to go for a swim than high in the hills above the sea at sunset! Absolutely stunning.

Beautifully appointed in a very quiet location. The restaurant meals were delicious and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was mainly continental with a huge selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries etc. There was also scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages included in the complimentary breakfast. More than enough food to set you up for the day.

The breakfast was great. There were selections of juices, breads, croissants, some cakes, one omelette cut into pieces. A good coffee served by the attendant barista with the word Coffee ‘printed’ on the top.

Beautiful city with so much old world charm, beautiful views, excellent restaurants (Osteria Tumelin Levanto was our favorite), bakeries, and coffee shops. Perfect location if you're visiting Cinque Terre - just a 5 minute train ride to the first of the towns but much less congested.

If you are walking the Cinque Terre, then Levanto is the ideal location. You get the train travel at a reduced price as you are just inside the region, the trains are quite regular and quick. Its handy if you want to go further up the coast to Portofino or down the coast to Pisa and beyond.
Its a proper town, so has all the things you need (supermarket, pharmacies etc) unlike the actual Cinque Terre towns which are crowed with day tourists and mostly cater to their needs.
We had a great stay here, lots of choice in restaurants would be more than happy to return if we had the time.

We chose Levanto because we wanted lodging to be in a relatively flat area but as close to the Cinque Terre cities as possible. The town itself is charming with lots of restaurant options. The people we met were friendly and helpful. Given the 5 cities of Cinque Terre, we allowed ourselves 5 nights and 4 full days - probably a day or 2 too long. It was easy to use the hop-on, hop-off boat and get a great view of the cities from the water. Travel to those cities by train was easy but crowded in mid September.

Nice village, whit nice beaches, I took a quick swim at afternoon night and then enter quickly to the accommodation. It is possible to walk or doing bike to Bonassola. A very strategic village to join Cinque Terre.
The room was very clean, and it has a lot of space for two people. As seen in the pictures, the WC is close to the room, but it shouldn’t be a problem flor solo-travellers and long time couples. For shy people, it offers a great oppportunity for brief walks to discover the beauties of Levanto ;) The amenities were great, the room has a mini bar and even though it is paid, it’s a life saviour when you want a drink in the midnight. Daría was very welcoming, we had a lovely stay. Prices were good.
The owners of B&B Vignola could not have been more attentive. He speaks multiple languages (including English) and his wife bakes all the delicious breakfast pastries from scratch. The rooms are very clean and charming. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. We were given a parking pass for the train station which was conveniently located about 5 minutes away. This is the perfect home base for exploring Cinque Terre. Levanto itself was wonderful to explore as well.
We chose this hotel because we had a car and wanted to do Cinq Terre. It was close to the train station and in a village. Walking distance to bars, shops and restaurants. A very safe area. All the staff were excellent. 8 euro for breakfast was well worth it. Rooms a were comfy and free Netflix which is great when you are an Australian in Italy who doesn’t speak the language. Would stay here again. Parking under the hotel is secure and there is a lift.
I can't praise Hotel Abetaia enough, truly.
The hotel itself is extremely clean and well taken care of. Our room and bathroom were quite spacious with plenty of ambient lighting.
There was a bountiful breakfast buffet which was delicious.
The hotel staff and management were always helpful no matter what was asked of them, and the owner is delightful.
If you are coming to the Cinque Terre area the Hotel Abetaia is a most excellent choice.
The hotel has a small swimming pool. You will appreciate it especially after a long ride with motorcycle on a hot summer day. The breakfast was excellent. The location is quiet. You only hear a nearby stream. It is 5 minutes from Levanto which is very nice. In my opinion is the best place to stay visiting Cinque Terre. To visit Cinque Terre the best option is to park on the Railroad station parking (free) and commute with train.
This is a cute room in a beautiful old building in Levanto, the staircase is original and there was even a lift. one street away from the beach and walking distance from the train. If you want to stay close to cinque terre but away from the crowds this is perfect. There was a fridge in the room with cold drinks and also a kettle. Clean towels and cute little touches with sweets
The hotel is in a beautiful location above the city of Levanto looking out onto the sea - pure tranquility. Our room was satisfactory with decent beds, outlets near the bed and a small veranda. The breakfast was nice and Infinity pool was amazing. We appreciated having a spot to park our rental car and used the hotel shuttle to travel to/from town daily during our stay.
This hotel is ideal for visiting the Cinque Terre villages. It is modern, clean and serves a great breakfast. The staff are super helpful and the rooms are spacious, modern and bright and airy.
The hotel is in a quiet location, yet only about 5-10 minutes walk into the Centre of Levanto and similar to the train station.
Can’t recommend enough!
Loved being in Levanto! Easy access to Cinque Terre but away from the hoards of tourists. The property is right in the heart of Levants and the bikes they provide are an added benefit—try the ride through the old train tunnels to the next two towns. Close to the beach and lots of restaurants. Friendly, welcoming and very helpful staff.
The location up a hill and resulting view out to sea, plenty of light in the accommodation.
15-20 mins walk to the train station for visiting Cinque Terre. 5-10 mins to shopping streets in Levanto
Comfortable bed, parking on site, good wifi connection
The hosts (friendly and helpful).
What a lovely hotel and a great basis to visit the cinque terre as well as the beach and have dinner in Levanto. The people were very friendly, our room was really nice. We would have loved to have the possibility for dinner at the hotel because the view from the terrace is great.
Our 4 nights stay in Hotel Palazzo Vannoni in Levanto was more than pleasant.
Staf is very professional and helpful, the room is very comfortable and charming.
Close by to the train to Cinque Terre and close to the beach and all the restaurants. A lovely place to stay.
Very clean and nice room with a perfect view (Dosso room) Cristina was very nice and helpfull. Good quality breakfast. 5-10 drive minutes away to Levanto. We get a free parking ticket for most places at Levanto. There are many place to park around the hotel.
It was very well located, 5 minutes walking to the beach and 10 minutes to the train station and easy access to Cinque Terre. It was very clean and great room with a modern bathroom. The host provided water, cookies and coffee, and a parking pass.
It was a great place to enjoy Italy and the vibe of the country. The sea was really close so we could just jump in the water whenever we wanted. We also had ventillator which is great. We could cook, and we had an amazing terrace.
Fabulous hotel in the centre of Levanto. Lovely staff, clean and comfortable room. Great to have a balcony. Amazing breakfast included with lots of options. Very close to the beach, shops and restaurants directly below.
Good location central to the train station (5 mins walk) easy to set off to cinque terre. Locked private parking outside building (€10). Host Andrea was very helpful and communicated well, good recommendations.
Wow, the staff was incredible. They helped us with getting information on the trains to the rest of Cinque Terre and area restaurants. They greeted us like family every time we came back to the hotel.
