Nidri is a small seaside town functioning very well in providing good access to a full range of water sports and yacht facilities, but still in development as a tourist resort. Most of the coast can be walked and some mountain-walking is possible to a waterfall and limestone gorges, but there are a limited number of walks without prickly scrub and usually require car or bike access to the higher paths with scenic views. The All Trails app is usefull.

Beatiful area, protected from the winds, very nice promendare area, shops, accomodations (we also found very nice taverns in Geni area of the golf, with docks right at the edge of water that shimmers so beautifully on a sunny day!) We also loved Sivota bay for a day trip!

What impressed me the most was the view that you could admire both from inside and outside from the apartment’s terrace. Across the street you have a small pebble beach if you don’t want to go too far for the famous Lefkada’s beaches. The host was very nice and easy to talk to via whatsapp. Cleaning was on point and you could have the sheets and towels changed anytime you wanted. Clearly we would come back.

The hotel is situated on the main street which becomes pedestrian zone every day after noon. Restaurants and markets are few meters away from the hotel. Staff speaks English very well!
