Adobe Resort, hotel in Yachats

Facing the beachfront, Adobe Resort offers 3-star accommodations in Yachats and has a fitness center, shared lounge and restaurant.

Great location, room was tidy and well decorated. We had single queen and I appreciated the 3 chairs and table and desk and cushioned bench for sitting and putting our items on, really comfortable. Nice grounds. Upstairs hill view room was a bit warm but we just opened the window for breeze (no a:c but probably not necessary). Quiet as well.

On 4 acres of oceanfront property, Tillicum Beach Motel - Formerly Deane's Oceanfront Lodge is in Yachats. Free Wi-Fi access and easy access to long stretches of beaches is available here.

Breakfast was Entenmann's donuts, coffee, and some fruit. Fresh bakery donuts would make it acceptable. The shower/tub in one of the rooms needed to be cleaner. Old motor court vibe brought back great family trip memories.

The Waldport Inn is located in Waldport, 15 mi from Newport. ,Guests DO NOT have access to computers anymore , and a microwave oven in the lobby.

The room was decent, clean, would be nice to have an updated shower wand, but good showers, decent bed, not to hard, needs a microwave and a larger coffee pot. But overall pay for what you get.

If you go in the “winter” season prepare for odd hours at restaurants and shops. Make sure you check this before you head out. The towns nearby by also have lots of services. There are sandy beaches and rocky ones, do your research to make sure you go where you want:). Good food, lovely people and a relaxing vacation.

We've stayed only here since we discovered it years ago.The view is spectacular and there are so many different kinds of beaches and beachcombing opportunities. They are dog friendly which is a definite yes for us! The little shops in Yachats, Waldport and Newport have aniques, local artists designs, kites and a vast variety of items. Something for everyone! The food was delicious everywhere we went.

    Sweet little town.

Sweet little town. Several places to stop and enjoy the ocean views or walk upon the beach. A coffee shop that sells Vegan pastries that are wonderful. A small grocery store, ice cream shop, as well as a few places to eat. Within 30 minutes of some bigger towns if you want more options for eating and sightseeing.

The home was at a quiet location with great views and beach access was ok. The home had everything needed. No cell phone service at the home at all. WiFi was good. DISH TV was not too good except for Netflix or HULU. The carpet needs updated otherwise the home was clean and the bedrooms were roomy. The actual driveway entrance needs better signage or something it was very hard to see. We really like how quiet the location was and the view was excellent. everything was very good except for the cell service which was annoying.

    Yachats is great!

Yachats is great! Especially loved Smelt Sands Park, great views and easy access. I love Cape Perpetua, the Visitor's Center and the many beach access points and sights. Hadn't been there for many years and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. The Cape Perpetua Campground is comfortable and well kept. We enjoyed some cute little shops. All in all, couldn't ask for a better 3 days with so many things to do and see!

Yachats has always been my go to place on the Oregon coast.

Yachats has always been my go to place on the Oregon coast. The 804 trail cuts through the rocky part of the beach which then extends 7 miles north To Waldport. My family owned a little red cabin at the end of the 804 trail for over 50 years. My whole childhood was spent playing on the beach and rocks, hiding out in the spruce forests, and walking miles down the beach towards Waldport. My father would fish off the rocks and catch Perch back in the 60's. My sisters and I would hunt for agates and Japanese floats on the waters edge. Many magical memories.

This hotel is in SUCH a gorgeous location!! I was impressed at the driveway, and welcomed warmly, and blown away by the ocean views! We got there just before sunset, and they have "s'mores on the bluff" which was the perfect way to wind down the evening with my kiddo and enjoy the gorgeous ocean views before bed. The staff were all super nice and very helpful, and available. I wasn't expecting to have such wonderful service, and to be in such a nice place.

This motel is very pet friendly. It is an old style motel with a door in the front and a door that leads to the beach. As we stayed several days, I watched the housekeeper clean the room next door, and was very impressed. She even cleaned the door jambs. Another housekeeper washed windows. The rooms have laminate flooring-great for traveling dogs. I have stayed at this property before -and would stay again. It was relaxing and quiet.

I loved the excellent view and sound of the ocean crashing right outside my windows. The jacuzzi tub was nice, but I mainly used it as a soaking tub since jets didn't have much power. But it didn't detract from experience. The room was spacious and clean. Neighbors not heard through walls. It's really walking distance to most places along mainstreet in Yachats, and they have nice trail along the bluffs.

Terrific location, convenient to Yachats and other local attractions along scenic hwy 101 like Cape Perpetua. Close to tidal pools. The hotel provided a tide chart. All rooms have great views of the ocean. The beach is right there. Stayed 2 nights and beat 116 degree weather at home.

It was great having a picnic table outside our room. We grilled some smokies and stayed at the property for dinner. Hotel is very welcoming to dogs and had dog toys to borrow. Good selection of movies and games available in the lobby to borrow.

Ideally located being on Highway 101 and about 500 feet from the oceanview. It has a lighthouse as an attraction in the premises. Restaurants in Yachats are just a walk away. Cozy place.
