It's possible the host, Oréliane, is the most pleasant person on earth. Long story, but trust me she is a real jem of a human being. The apartment itself was super cool, built into the hill as you ascend into vieux lyon. Beautiful view over the city. Close to everything. Very comfortable, very hip, I instantly felt part of the scene than a visitor.

Lovely apartment and very well-equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen. The location was in a fun area with lots of bars and cafes. The apartment was clean, the bed was very comfortable and it was quiet to have a good sleep each night.

This apartment was AMAZING. When I first saw the photos and read the reviews of this apartment, I thought it seemed too good to be true and a small part of me thought this might be a scam. But Anne and her daughter went above and beyond my expectations, this is genuinely a hidden gem in the middle of Vieux Lyon. We arrived very late the first night and Anne's daughter Emmy made sure we managed to get into the apartment safely (she was supposed to meet us at the apartment but we arrived very late so she left the key in a safe space). The apartment is so spacious and clean, a perfect spot to stay for the long weekend. As it was the fete de lumieres, the streets were packed and lively. We enjoyed being near all the festivities but at the same time having an easy place to return to if we were tired. On the day we were to check-out, Anne kindly allowed us to leave our luggage in the apartment so we could continue to enjoy the city before our flight. She was extremely kind and generous, I would happily stay here again!

Lovely studio flat in C18 residential block.A happy environment and you feel like you are really living in the old town. Laurent met us and helped us with our bags. He is extremely helpful and met us a little earlier than official chekin time so we could drop out bags before visiting the city. Everything fitted what we expected from the listing and the reviews.

The apartment is gorgeous and very cleverly designed with a loft. The kitchen and washing machine allowed us to cook and clean as we needed, in a cosy, beautifully decorated environment. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

The central location in Old Town was absolutely perfect - so many shops, restaurants and sites to discover! Our hosts also provided several great recommendations on restaurants in the area and it was so easy to get to other parts of the city, as the metro and bus line were extremely close. Also well-located for Metro and buses, and a supermarket is 5 mins away. Nice to have coffee on the balcony overlooking central green area.
