In February we stayed here for 5 days in the beautiful Blue Nile House in a apartment: spacious, clean, with three balconies and great views and the river Nile. Our host, Sayed, and his team are very kind and most helpful. The daily breakfast under the beach umbrella near the swimming pool was something to look forward to every morning. For dinner there was a varied menu of delicious Egyptian meals to choose from. And in a 10 mins walk there is this Restaurant with ferry ride name 'Aladdin guarantees a peaceful and quiet atmosphere and amazing chicken and fish (grilled) in a combo of rice and chapati. There are several possibilities to visit the ancient Egyptians monuments. Sayed can arrange for taxis and there are lots of tuktuks on the road in the village to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Queens temples and tombs on the West Bank. Our driver (Mr. Hassan) was having ample of knowledge for the site seeing. Our balloon ride early in the sunrise, 5 o'clock something cannot be missed!!! Go for it, its amazing. We highly recommend Blue Nile House for it is the perfect place to stay on the West Bank of Luxor. Thank you Sayed, Hassan and the entire Team for these wonderful hospitality. It was our best stay in Egypt and we booked few places in different cities so we have comparison 😊. Mohamed was extremely nice and helpful. He called us even when we drove to Cairo to make sure we are fine. And in the house there was everything we needed. It was very clean also. There is rooftop with nice view for sunset and flying balloons. They helped to organise boat trip on Nile and hot air balloons for very good money. We really enjoyed our stay there and we highly recommend CASA LOKO!!! 🙂

The owner and his brother were very kind and had tea with us several times. They also aragned a great tour with Valentino, who we can't recommend enough. Location was a 5 min walk from the ferry to the east bank. Loads of nice palces to eat and get fresh fruit/bread. Surrounded by gardens and beautiful farmland. Fast internet.

A great apartment which can hold 6 people. Lovely balconies with a view of sugarcane field. Nice breakfast. There is also a common washing machine, which is very helpful.

3.1 km from Luxor Museum, Karnak Flats is a recently renovated property situated in Luxor and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The accommodation has a spa bath and a hot tub. The apartment features family rooms. The apartment was exceptionally clean and spacious. Our host Ahmed was very friendly and we felt welcomed. He was waiting for us at the airport since we came with the last flight from Cairo at 8:30 PM. We paid him 7$ which was more than fair. He also drove us back to the airport a few days later. The apartment is not in the city center but it didn't bother us. Luxor is not that big. We used the Careem app to move around and it worked pretty well.
