We had a wonderful stay at Alan’s apartment! The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood with a small creek running behind it. it was an easy walk to a large Co-op grocery store, Balloch County Park and Loch Lomond Shores. It also was a great home base for exploring the Loch Lomond area. The apartment itself was fantastic! it has plenty of room for our family of three. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make all our meals. The washing machine was great and there was a drying rack outside we could use. Alan was so helpful answering questions before the trip and he and his sister were so kind during our stay! We would recommend this apartment to family and friends and would love to stay again as well!

The highlights were definitely the own sauna in the bathroom and the hot tub in a separate little shed across the garden. We had gone to Loch Lomond to hike and these installations were so relaxing for our aching bones. The apartment itself was lovely and cosy and our warm-hearted host Eddie kept enquiring whether we needed anything. A plus were the lovely view and Eddie’s sheep and his two cute dogs. Absolutely recommended!

This guesthouse is amazing, the lake side is beautiful and our room had a breathtaking view. We self checked in, which was convenient as we arrived late at night. Patrick, the owner, is such a charismatic person, he made our short stay very pleasant and guided us with information about the area. Breakfast was delicious and even though we were a bit late on our last morning, we had excellent service. Our bed was comfortable, the pillows were just right and our room was very clean and warm. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we will definitely go back.
