The highlights were definitely the own sauna in the bathroom and the hot tub in a separate little shed across the garden. We had gone to Loch Lomond to hike and these installations were so relaxing for our aching bones. The apartment itself was lovely and cosy and our warm-hearted host Eddie kept enquiring whether we needed anything. A plus were the lovely view and Eddie’s sheep and his two cute dogs. Absolutely recommended!

We booked BurnHowf as we were attending a family wedding in the Cameron House hotel and were delighted we did. Everything about it was excellent, from the close, walking distance proximity of the hotel, through to the cleanliness and excellent facilities on offer. This guesthouse is amazing, the lake side is beautiful and our room had a breathtaking view. We self checked in, which was convenient as we arrived late at night. Patrick, the owner, is such a charismatic person, he made our short stay very pleasant and guided us with information about the area. Breakfast was delicious and even though we were a bit late on our last morning, we had excellent service. Our bed was comfortable, the pillows were just right and our room was very clean and warm. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we will definitely go back.
