I arrived at the scheduled time, and there was a host at reception who greeted us warmly and gave us the cards for the room. The main area was well-lit and clean! After depositing our luggage in our large apartment, we checked out the gym, games and laundry room and were impressed with the facilities. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay!

The rooms were large and very comfortable. Our party booked both an apartment and suite. Both were spacious and comfortable. The lobby was clean and inviting. The hotel is right off the Plaza Espana and close to squares, shops and restaurants. Also a short walk or bus ride from the train station so very easy to get around. We were very happy with this selection and we would stay here again. There is a mini bar in the lobby stocked with water and soft drinks that are free to guests. Snacks are also provided.

We were met by a professional employee who offered us the option to store our luggage until our room was prepared and called me when that was completed. We asked her for a few recommendations for dinner and she offered 3 possibilities from which we chose one. Had a lovely meal and the restaurant was just as she described it and close to the hotel on a cool night. This is our second stay at El Armador and we have another 2 day stay planned for March.

We liked absolutely everything about this property. Its location is perfect, right in the historic center and close to everything, including good restaurants and supermarkets. The staff is simply lovely. Pablo was always very helpful and so nice to talk to (Thank you, Pablo, for everything!). The room was very beautiful, spotless clean and it had everything one could need, from a kettle and a selection of teas and coffee to hairdryer, nice toiletries, comfortable beds and pillows (you name it). The WiFi also worked great (the best we've seen in Spain in a hotel). We really enjoyed our stay here and if we were to go to Cadiz again this is the place we would definitely choose. Highly recommended!

The apartment is new, equipped with everything that you need. The view towards the beach is very nice. Everything was perfect. I recommend this place.
