Very quiet and relaxing. Great sea view. There was no need to even leave the villa as anything needed can be ordered by phone and delivered. The pool was clean and warm.

La villa es soñada. A metros de la playa, con esa piscina sinfín que tiene la sombra que se necesita para pasar el día entero ahí, la terraza amplia y muy cómoda, y la hamaca para pegarse las mejores siestas del mundo. La playa es prácticamente privada, y a pocos metros ya puedes hacer snorkel y ver pescaditos de colores. El personal, maravilloso, atento y siempre bien dispuesto. Los masajes al borde de la playa, un sueño. La ubicación es perfecta para pasar tranquilos y sin ruidos, pero recomiendo arrendar motos para moverse, porque es poco lo que hay cerca.

This is our 2nd time went to Amed, and staying at Stairway to Heaven made us LOVE Amed more than ever! Keep in mind that this hotel is on top of the cliff. Most hotels in Amed would have a lobby in front of the road, but this isn't the case, when we first arrived you would just see a parking area (enough for 3 cars and plenty of bikes), and you would find a gate with a staircase going down. About 20s stair steps later, you would see the lobby on the right side, along with the restaurant where you would have breakfast/lunch/dinner. To go to your room, you would have to go down farther, about 40-50 stair more steps right down to the garden area and the beach, and it was an AMAZING beach! Room: Yes you guessed it, to go to your room, you would have to take another 30 stair steps, but it's BEAUTIFUL VIEW from your room! It's spacious inside, and for our case the patio has a bed where you can chill and watch the sunrise/sunsets. When we went in June, Sunrise is right in front of our room, I woke up at 4am just to wait for the sunrise and it was the most tranquilizing moment I've had for a long time. Bathroom is semi-outdoor on the shower area, but also spacious and clean. There's a small fridge in the room, and plenty of towels were provided for our 2 nights stay. The water would come from Aqua 5 gallon bottle with a manual pump so you can have a bit of workout when pumping for water lol. Garden: Our dogs loved it! Spacious garden, we always see the hotel employees every morning taking care of the garden area, it's clean no crazy spider webs, etc. There are some limited amount of sun beds and table also on the garden area, but we don't see too many guests are using it (as most of them gone snorkeling instead) Beach: Very great for Snorkeling! White sand beach (in which is kinda rare I would think in Amed, because in the city center it was all black sand beach due to the volcano), but this tells you there are...

Big clean and well equipped rooms, great breakfast, great staff, beautiful and big swimming pool. note if you want a room facing the sea choose an ocean view type room, but this is a beautiful and ordinary stay, don't doubt this place is quiet.
